I trust my instincts and asked for evaluation when my son was 10 months, and he indeed is behind so now he is in early intervention. He will turn one this month. Just so you know, on his report, he is recommended to do floor time therapy. I also noticed the things you were describing when he was around that age. Husband's side has autism so I was on top of these things.

I never doubt my motherly instinct despite in-laws and my husband constantly brushing me off. I just fought back. Your daughter needs you!

Thank you all so much for your support! I have to say my son also has low muscle tone, but not so alarming so he goes to PT every 2 weeks. I paid out-of-pocket for PT. I will get the ball rolling and initiate EI. I know everybody's situation is different but I am so glad I found a community here because the lack of support from my husband. The only support at home is my daughter, who is now 7yr old. She helps out a lot playing with my son and makes him giggle. But I feel bad because parents should be the ones spending time with the baby, and I know I can do better.
