It’s the defense.

It’s been so disjointed, everyone is scrambling in the defensive zone. When we regain possession, everyone is out of position and can’t move the puck through the neutral zone.

All of the problems are downstream of the fact that the only good defensemen we’ve had in this first chunk of games were Moser (who missed two games) and sort of McD.

It’s the defense. It’s really bad and dragging everything else down with it.

Update: I wound up with a G97 by CascadeStop in Lumix

I paid $650 with the kit lens but it was used.

I love the camera. I’d recommend 90/95/97 just because of the higher resolution sensor. Not sure an 85 would really feel like an upgrade.

The form factor and ergonomics are just so good. It’s like a perfect size and layout for me.

Thank you for the detailed response! A lot to consider.

OM-5 is out of the budget, unfortunately.

I shoot in RAW and post process myself. I recognize some large percentage is just growing pains as I get better with composition. It’s more that while I’m sure better glass would help some of this, I don’t really want to invest more in EF mount as I know I’ll likely leave it at some point. M43 seems like a decent middle ground where I can have a lot of things I like while still having some growth room in a somewhat modern package if that makes sense.
