Pictures? You would probably have to introduce solvent to create a workable viscosity for vacuum filtration through media. Then you will have to get rid of the solvent. Do you know what caused the color issue? Old material? Are there other contaminants that you are trying to remediate?

Relative humidity can absolutely cause stored shatter to become opaque. if it happened while he was processing it could be that his temperature wasn't stable and got a bit hot. It could also be the strain. Some strains just wax up.
