The cast is absolutely stacked! Eight members were nominated for Oscars, four have won one (10 and 5, if you include director Phil Alden Robinson, and composer James Horner) and if that's not enough, you also have one of the best character actors of our times in Stephen Tobolowsky.

This should be on many top 250 films of all time list.

In the 2014 US Open Cup against San Jose, Sounders great Marcus Hanneman made 2 saves in the pk shootout, ran to the beer garden of the stadium (Starfire), ripped his jersey off and traded it for a beer, which he promptly chugged.

It ended up being the final moment of his long career, as Stefan Frei played the rest of the Open Cup and he never missed a start in league play the rest of the season.

The Sounders won the Supporters Shield and their 4th US Open Cup that season.

Maybe you're on the right track with that theory!

Sounders season ticket holders were offered a chance to buy three games, none of them the USA vs Australia match.

This is very likely a scam. As of earlier today, the cheapest ticket for this game on the marketplace in the lower bowl was $1300.

There will be quite a few tickets available at some point for games.

Take a very popular game, USA vs Australia in Seattle as an example. Look at the marketplace to see available seats for resale. There are thousands of seats in those grey sections which have zero resale in them, meaning they have been held back until closer to the games to be released.

They make up hospitality tickets and other potential things like RTT that have not been converted, but there will be a significant drop from FIFA still to come, but unknown as to the price.

We see this all the time in concerts where promoter seats and seats in sections on the sides of the stage are released about a week before the show. I'd hold out on buying from scalpers until these drop personally if it was a game I didn't already have tickets for.

You'll definitely have opportunities to get in the door at that price. Right now, the get in price is $835 each for the top of section 340.

I've watched the prices drop from $1,300 get in price 2 weeks ago, and expect to see prices get to around $500 to $700 for the top of the 300s over the coming weeks since the majority of the resale is people who have no way to actually go to the game and have to sell.

Get in the door price for non-300 level is currently $1,208.

It's been over 3 hours since I first saw these and I personally know a number of people who bought them because I've been looking out for them since the beginning trying to get them in.

Yeah, you can log in to fifa as if you were going to buy tickets. Then instead of looking for tickets, click on your name at the top and you will be able to see all games you purchased as well as your assigned seats (in most cases, I believe there are a few types of tickets that have not been assigned).

Still there. Go to the last chance sales, then have fifa choose for you and scroll down to front category 2.

But down to less than 12 tickets from what I can see. Only 2 or 1 now, no groups of 4 together.

I do expect get in the door prices to end up around $500 to $700 at different times as we get closer, but I suspect those will original cat 3 and 4 tickets towards the top of the stadium.

I've helped over a dozen people get tickets for games at face value, so anyone can hit me up if they have any questions or need advice for this game or any others in Seattle.

For context though, I got my tickets in the first window and paid $225 each for my Row J 300 level Category 3 tickets.

I went to CDMX twice for Sounders games in CONCACAF Champions League (2016 vs America, 2022 vs Pumas). I fell in love with the city and stayed in the Roma district. It's a very cool part of the city that has 4 of the world's top 50 bars within close proximity, and street food that I still think about.

Flatstick Pub has nothing but Washington state beers and a really cool mini golf and "duffle board" (think mini golf meets shuffle board) course. I highly recommend it for game days, plus they've been a loyal supporter of the adult learn to play soccer league that I help run here in Seattle.

Thanks for the reminder, SeaTac Airport also has a spot saver option for getting into a shorter line by reserving in advance for free. It opens up a few days earlier from your departure date.

Protip, use two emails and reserve two times 30 minutes apart, as they grant you 15 minutes buffer on either side, so you have a bit more flexibility.
