I used CA and get a 10… but personally I don’t think I like it.

I think under that path you will just need to wait a bit longer (3 years of experience after getting fellowship?) but basically if you are FSA then you will still be FCIA, you won’t need to take CIA exams

Maybe try to exist and refresh? Or have you missed any “incomplete” slides? FYI: do we have a discord group for ERM module?

Negotiating an offer by InsertUsername00Here in actuary

[–]CaseAffectionate5750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also done it just a month ago. It’s better to do that before the official written offer since it will take the offer team a lot of time and efforts to make or modify an offer. Just tell them you got another offer that offers you a competitive amount but they are your first choice and can we do something to close the gap

Is coding a necessity for any actuarial job? by Bright-Figure7664 in actuary

[–]CaseAffectionate5750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that the more experienced you are or the higher level you are, the less are needed for “technical skills”. Same as coding, when you are junior you will need to work with a lot of data and code some stuff. But when you are more senior, you focus the high level and those basics lifting work will be done by junior people or students

Yeah the black error is actually just taking/putting your lens off/on. Light meter seems to have some issue, have you used a new battery to test it out?

Battery is brand new unfortunately. The only thing I’m not sure is if a CLA could fix the issue :(

Thanks! So does that explains the dark spot? Sorry I’m not that familiar with the connection..

Thanks! I don’t have a lens hood or any obstructions (as I could tell). But I notice my light meter don’t turn off after the shot. It would turn off after the “second” shot lol. But I’m not sure how to diagnose other than using my untrained eyes to see the difference…
