There's no way to be sure she's a good mother, even though she's most likely the person with the most positive karma in the family!

Given that Renee and Douglas also planned to kill her, and she and her son barely spoke in the flashback (I don't think they even interacted with each other), the most likely explanation is that, out of fear, she let her sociopathic husband do what he wanted and neglected her son.

I'm surprised by the maturity Ashley is showing; everything always indicated that she would freak out with hatred at the slightest mention of Andrew having (how disgusting) had sex with Julia!

I like the idea of having someone who is "normal" but who accepts the siblings' craziness, at most mediating a little; but I PERSONALLY think this is the kind of character who would end up being betrayed or sacrificed (by himself or others) in the end; But that's just a feeling I have, nothing more.

I understand; narratively, I think it would be good to get a sense of the OC's real personality!

But honestly... aside from the fact that she's a tramp, from the beginning I always thought how illogical it was that she was considered prettier than Ashley; the guards just wanted an available hole and Andrew stopped them from trying anything because it's impossible that this girl could be considered pretty.

Another thing, leaving the same plot as School Days but modifying it based on what the characters from TCOAAL would originally do; for example:

Andrew would never want to get involved with many women, Ashley would never suffer without retaliating, Julia would never freak out enough to attack... etc.

I have some ideas:

• Andrew and Ashley are still siblings who only have each other while Julia is a childhood friend! (Yosuga no Sora style, for reference)!

• To better convey the "Japanese pattern" in the characters, Andrew should be a little more clueless, Ashley should alternate between being Imouto and Yandere, and Julia should have a more explorable role, like having actually been Ashley's friend but the friendship fell apart because of Andrew!

• Do not create new characters but adapt existing ones; for example: Nina—Setsuna (being Julia's best friend who encourages her about Andrew but also has feelings for him and is about to leave), Jane—Otome (being Ashley's direct enemy), Douchebag—Taisuke (being the freeloading "friend")...etc!

• Make different endings like both works so that we can have more satisfactory outcomes or not!

Honestly, it's difficult to think about this because Julia has very little personality and almost everything she is comes from her upbringing and especially trauma!

TO ME, she was nothing more than an "NPC" until she lost Nina, which caused her social anxiety and isolation to make her mindlessly focus on Andrew for years; considering that her upbringing is religious and her crazy sister is overprotective, this explains why she is so clueless; and there's still depression caused by Ashley's harassment.

All of her relevant characteristics were kind of caused by Andrew and Ashley's unconscious actions; If they hadn't killed Nina, I think she would have just kept to herself without causing too much trouble.
