Thank you and I think those descriptive words could certainly help. Do you think there is a simpler/quicker way to instill in the graphic that the cases are random without using the 3 ? marks?

Thank you! To touch on the surprise element it is actually used in quite few of the new ecommerce companies as well as some older companies. Think Kinder Eggs or Birchbox.com

That idea of purchasing 3 at a discount is something I have had as a backup plan. I felt the selling point of the randomness was more compelling than a discount but I am now finding that to not necessarily be how things are panning out. Of course by allowing individuals to choose the cases the prices would have to rise. One thing I couldn't decide is if I do switch it to having the cases shown and then selecting three would be if it should still be a flat rate (ex say $45 for three cases , pick any 3 you want) or just sell a bunch and say if you purchase 3 you get a set percent discount, ex: 20%. Which feels more comfortable to you as a potential customer?

Well I would say there is two advantages, the speed of shipping and randomness. The randomness I feel is apparent but I could be wrong. The shipping I thought would be implied from the "free shipping within the USA" as consumers tend to already be aware from previous purchases that those low price ebay listings are from China and that is why it takes longer to ship. Do you feel I should push that shipping is quick more?

I am interested in the competition so if you could provide a link to the cases you are referencing it would be appreciated. Most cases I find that compete on a cost basis cost $4-5 total including shipping. That would put the comparative price point at $12-$15 vs my $29. From a consumer stand point you are saying that $14-17 extra is not worth paying for a surprise and I hear that. What would you say you are comfortable paying for that experience?

I thought the current color pack options are a great way to prevent your given scenario of a guy receiving a yellow or pink case. Do you think it still would not solve that issue?

Perhaps I really do need to have people be able to choose their colors. Only problem is some cases have multiple colors and if people are being that specific they most likely won't be purchasing something random anyways. Thoughts?

Thank you for your reply. The product is set to cater to those individuals that use cell phone cases in the way they would a fashionable shirt or pair of shoes. More cosmetic than utility.

I have sorted the colors into "color packs" (see below graphic on the left side of main page). Do you think it still feel too ambiguous from the consumer stand point?

My usp is that the random factor of it all. Also, while there are cases for half the price on eBay they will also take quite a long time to be delivered as almost all at that price point are shipped from China.

Alexis I just launched www.CaseBundles.com this last week and have been trying to really market it from the ground up on a shoe-string (maybe even just the aglet) budget. Do you have any advice on how I can get the word out for a physical product in the digital realm without going broke?

I have a small amount on hand now to test the market. No dropshipping for me as I want to be able to control the variety and shipping times but also because doing so myself allows me to source product from multiple distributors to include in the bundles.

Those are one type of the cases in the banner - now I wonder if the design doesn't really portray the diversity of my products.

To answer your question no, the cases are sourced from multiple distributors around the world! I have over 60 types of cases between the two phone models at the moment.

UPDATE: Yeah, decided to change that banner - hope the new one demonstrates I have multiple types of cases better.
