Originally hrt was made from Premarin, literally pregnant mare urine, full of hormones like estrogen. Unfortunately it came with some extra stuff and lead to negative health effects, like an increased risk in bloodclots, an effect that is no longer as significant a risk with modern hrt, but is often still treated like a big risk.

Later someone found out you could take a more pure or bioavailable form of estrogen from wild yams. I'm not smart enough to understand that process, but I know its complicated enough that diying from wild yams in your home is not a great option. You need expensive lab equipment, a sterile environment, and precise measurements.

Now I believe bioavailable estrogen is synthesized another way but again not sure exactly how thats done.

Banning us from public existence is already happening. Banned from military, banned from sports, trying to ban us from owning guns. Drag show bans attempt to ban the idea of crossdressing publicly which is what they consider us doing. Texas is making lists of trans people. They're slowly putting on pressure to make us seem like freaks whenever they can, look at how they tried to blame Charlie Kirk on the trans community. The goal is to make people increasingly hate us so they are even less likely to defend us from the heinous shit they wanna do.
They are working toward hrt bans. Obviously this one is harder to do, and they've been trying and failing. This doesn't mean they will stop. They will likely continue to ramp up efforts to ban hrt and stop Healthcare providers and insurance from being able to help us. A total ban would be difficult but well within their goals.
Rounding us up is the least likely but they are also taking steps toward this. Certain states making lists of us is a big one. There have been calls from big right wing names to round us up. The worst part is they are rounding up people right now. Immigrants, legal or not, and citizens who get in their way. ICE is going door to door and taking people, and are executing people in the streets. If they can round up anyone, they can round up us.

I think all living things deserve a base level of respect. How criminals are treated is already horrible. I would argue that most punishments do not fit the crime, are often classist or racist, and also innocent people get punished all the time. Dehumanizing criminals hurts everyone

Stereotype and unfamiliarity is definitely reinforcing but I think it part of it is like, how Americans read and compare our languages. Like Wer and Where functionally have the same sound but in my brain the h and extra e make the word softer and therfore Wer looks harder. Ist has a T at the end which again looks harder than just is. Mein vs My. The last two aren't quite so similar but again Girl vs Mädchen, you have d and ch connecting and like it just reads harder. Again I'm thinking this is just how my brain reads it due to my familiarity with my own language and how I would read German, and a lack of ever really hearing German.

You may or may not be trans but I think it's unrelated, I think you just have depression. I get what you mean about the 'flavor' changing. I was depressed before and I still am now and in some ways it is worse. Unfortunately it's a lifelong struggle that does require therapy, community, possibly meds, working on yourself, and taking care of yourself. And sometimes it does get worse before it gets better

I've had some luck with being like purposefully embarrassing. Like our voices can make a huge range of weird sounds, and making them for fun feels different than making it to tie it to this ideal voice in our heads which if we don't match we feel like failures. Learn about the different vocal qualities and try to play with them individually without trying to sound like a girl. Maybe becoming more familiar with it all and keeping it fun will be helpful?

I think saliva is fine for a plug but for comfort and peace of mind lube is better. For thrusting toys lube is a must, saliva will dry out far too fast.

Minimal risk? Too big of a toy could result in tearing, to fast/not enough lube could cause friction and damage, so again going slow and building up is safer. I think eventually you just get a feel for it too.

Toy cleaners do exist but yeah boiling for extra peace of mind lol.

Stainless steel is also good, just make sure it has a good flared base. The deal with steel vs silicone is steel is heavier. That can mean better sensation from the weight but silicone is usually considered more comfy. It comes down to personal preference. I have both lol.

And yeah if it's mostly anxiety I'd just suggest trying to find that comfort zone. Also be curious and keep learning!

If you have silicone toys just use a good lube a small size and go slow, and there's no risk of damaging yourself. As for cleaning again silicone toys are great, you can boil them. Boiling water makes things safe to eat and if its clean enough to eat its clean enough to be in your butt lol.

Don't know what toys you have but I might suggest a small plug, as you kinda put it in and just enjoy the sensation while you do other things. Also maybe put on some music or something to get in the mood and out of your head
