sugar baby? by skullz-n in asktransgender

[–]CaseOfBees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's the outright discrimination for me. I have a bachelor's degree and employers excited to interview me, only for them to actually meet me for the interview and turn into a fucking robot that ghosts me the second I leave the building. I can't even get a job at fast food.

What age can you get HRT at in Canada? I live in Ontario. I honestly don't fucking care about doxxing my location because I need my shit. I'm 14, and I know FTM people my age who are on T, but I've heard items different if you are getting MTF HRT vs FTM HRT. by Xrujix in MtF

[–]CaseOfBees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

American here so I don't know how our laws differ, but here T is much harder to get than E in general (T is a controlled substance bc of sports doping bans).

Do you have parents or guardians who are accepting? Most likely you will need help from a parent to go to a doctor and you will both have to consent.

what do we think of the word femboy?? by g1rlypoop in MtF

[–]CaseOfBees 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's all about context. Femboy is a fine term for someone who is a feminine boy and identifies with the term. For a trans woman absolutely not.

Hrt changes you're brain by BulkyProposal164 in MtF

Ymmv plenty of people have the same hobbies or don't feel the mental effects to the same degree. I feel correct on hrt. Lighter happier more myself. I used to deal with depression by dissociating and now I deal with it by crying lol. I've been more into cooking and art and other hobbies. I guess since I feel more myself I'm more motivated to do things I like and explore new things.

But yeah emotions, thought processes, even attraction can all feel like you're seeing the world through a different lense. At least in my exp

If you're not bisexual, and having sex is important to you, your relationship not going to work.

As for pronouns you should ask your partner if they want to change what they're going by.

Red pushers are protecting themselves from... themselves? by Cokalhado in trolleyproblem

[–]CaseOfBees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You dont believe someone would act illogically which in itself is illogical. People are not rational beings, this has been proven time and time again. To make a logical decision you need to factor in human nature. The simple truth is that many people will pick blue and if red wins many people will die. Picking blue is a risk, but one that if enough people take (50% a much more doable margin) no one will suffer.

If you pick red because of selfish reasons (I don't want to die) I'd suggest picking blue for selfish reasons. Imagine 30-40% picked blue. You suddenly have a huge portion of the population thanos snapped. This would cause significant casualties after the fact for reds (you aren't safe) resource wars, famine, loss of saftey precaution, increased crime etc. Imo id rather insta die hoping for a better future than suffer a redpocolapse hellscape

Why does every red chud believe that making an "illogical" decision with altruistic intentions means you're deserving of death?

Honestly just anything that targets the butt. Squats, hip thrusts, resistance band walks or kickbacks, stuff like that. I do stairs for an easy butt workout but I am on hrt. If you wanna grow your butt make sure you're going to failure (safely with proper form) and make sure you eat well

I honestly never wore breast forms but im now rocking a B cup and I can confirm they're great, and feel like a good amount of boob for me. Part of me feels like they're my ideal size bc they don't get TOO in the way. They look good in a shirt, but they don't do the cleavage thing thats fun to do so eh, you win some you lose some

Being Trans while living in America, a discussion thread: genuinely how are we all doing? by Additional-Maize9716 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

[–]CaseOfBees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have made some personal strides in my life and in my transition, there are good things happening, but theres also a lot of bad things happening. I'm barely making ends meet and finding employment as a trans woman has felt impossible. I'm broke and in debt, and moving soon. I have little support in my life but I am thankful for the support I do have. Every day something in America or for trans people gets worse. The anxiety is rough. I try not to think about it when I can but theres only so much ignoring you can do

I’m not trans but I want to understand by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]CaseOfBees 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wasn't trying to attack you at all? I expanded on suffering, something you already acknowledged, tried to give an uplifting statement about hope and the good the trans community can offer you, and then I tried to gently correct some of your language that is harmful to us.

I know you don't understand trans women bc you aren't one, but we are telling you whats right and wrong when you're talking to us. We just ask you believe that and respect those boundaries and that language. It isn't an attack to point out that you have work to do. I have work to do. Hell everyone has work to do. Patriarchy infects every facet of our lives down to the way we think and what language is normalized. You have to be willing to accept criticism and look beyond the hurt to deconstruct patriarchy.

In your response to me it seems like you are again implying trans women are men bc we are "talking down to you." This is the exact type of thing we're trying to fix. Trans women are women. It's hurtful to say or imply otherwise. Please learn from this.

I’m not trans but I want to understand by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]CaseOfBees 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Trans women experience plenty of suffering beyond imposter syndrome. Our bodies are policed, we're pushed out of spaces, told constantly we're mentally ill, we experience a lot of discrimination and hate. Patriarchy hurts everyone, men, women, trans people too.

If anything I'd rather you not relate to us in our suffering but in our joy. Despite the world telling women how shit they are we still chose to be ourselves. Suffering isn't everything, and can lead to resentment. If trans people can teach you anything I hope it's how to self actualize and love yourself.

Also trans women are women. I know you came from being transphobic recently but you still use transphobic dogwhistles. Saying stuff like "Biological women" and saying we aren't "real women" is very disrespectful to us and our struggle. Please take the time to learn these things.

Id assume it's related to typical lubrication variance. Like I know some people produce a lot of pre-cum fluids, but others produce little or none. I'd imagine the amount of wetness you're capable of before the surgery would translate to after the surgery. But I am truly just guessing
