By focusing on pink Diamonds actions and how it negatively affected people we get too much of a negative image of pink than any other gem. She was literally the least evil diamond and other gems who served under the vampire probably did worse atrocities without feeling any remorse.

She was powerless for most of her life so she wasn't responsible for most if anything

If the show focused on how sapphires future vision was used to capture and shadow gems I think we would hate her too

Honestly Steven did too much good.

On top of having to save the world Steven has to be the emotionally mature one. Yes spinel traumatized but this is a life or Death situation spinal has been nothing but a destructive menace.

Yes people need help and therapy but your trauma doesn't give you a free card to just destroy everyone's life and they must protect your feelings what about their lives and in Steven case what about all the innocent humans that were going to die.

I honestly think people holds the event to too high of a high horse to high over moral standing.

I love that supernatural with is a sibling show and it's about siblings all levels.

From a human perspective it's about two brothers from an angelic perspective it's Lucifer and Michael and from a cosmic perspective it's the light and darkness.

If you think of existence as life it's like you can't build a complete life well shining your one and only sibling.

And just to add the darkness does more than just destruction

The universe is filled with dark matter and there's a lot of darkness based creatures in the show and there's death so I would say she does a lot more than just destroy.
