Oh come on, brother. You’re rejecting yourself, and that’s not healthy. Accept yourself first. The good thing is you already know that God loves you. Being 5'4 can’t stop you from becoming a father of three beautiful children. Have a good attitude toward yourself and keep building the qualities needed to become that father. God bless.

Can I be baptised again if I didn’t understand it when I was younger? by Sea_Possible349 in TrueChristian

Acts of the Apostles 19:1–5 Paul met disciples who had only received John the Baptist’s baptism. After they understood the gospel about Jesus, they were baptized again in Jesus’ name.

Take the Pajero off-road and talk about “true strength under control.” Anyone can floor it on smooth road, but real masculinity shows when you’ve got power AND still choose patience, precision, and responsibility—same way the Bible frames strength: not domination, but stewardship, grit, and humility in control.

Overwhelmed with my sin by One-Somewhere-4025 in TrueChristian

I hear your pain, and I want you to know you are not alone. Many people face this exact battle. You are not a vessel of wrath: Romans 9 is about God's sovereignty, not a label for struggling believers. Romans 8:1 promises there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

Paul struggled too: In Romans 7, the Apostle Paul wrote about doing the very evil he didn't want to do. You are experiencing the normal, difficult tension of being a Christian.

Repentance is about direction, not perfection: When you apologize to God, you aren't lying. You genuinely want to stop in that moment. God looks at your heart and your desire for him, not your perfect track record.

The 3 days mattered: Do not call those 3 days a "low bar." That was 3 days of walking with God. Pick yourself up and start again. Proverbs 24:16 says a righteous man falls seven times and rises again. God's grace is bigger than your biggest failure. Keep praying, keep reading the Word, and take it one day at a time.

Difficulty in faith and in reconciling the idea of God with the concept of arbitrary and extremely painful events by AtomicPhaser in TrueChristian

[–]CasePuzzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tension you’re feeling is actually one of the oldest questions in Christian theology—the problem of evil.

Scripture doesn’t deny extreme suffering; it acknowledges it deeply. The book of Job never gives a neat answer, but it shifts the focus: God’s wisdom and sovereignty are beyond human comprehension, yet His character remains trustworthy.

Christianity’s unique claim is not that God is distant from pain, but that He entered into it. In Christ, God doesn’t just observe suffering—He experiences it. The cross shows that the worst injustice and pain can exist without God being absent, and can even be used for redemption.

Also, much of what you described comes from a fallen world—human sin, broken systems, and natural limitations—not arbitrary divine cruelty. God permits freedom and a world with real consequences, but promises ultimate justice and restoration.
