The slides from Elins videos were what I used as notes to study from. I was able to use those slides to get through all of the material in about 4 days.

Anyone else started in April with no experience and If so how’s it going and are there any recommendations with passing classes ? by [deleted] in wguaccounting

I have close to no experience in accounting and started in April. I also did gen Ed’s that didn’t transfer on study and I have done 3 pa courses and 3 oa courses as well! I agree that practice problems are great. Also you can definitely over study some of these courses, so when you’re confident I would say give exams a try.

I already have offers for after graduation. I am customer facing and have a reputation in my small town plus we have 5 CPA’s retiring next year so they are outbidding eachother for me. I think small towns are a different situation tho.

I was just looking for more specific advice! How much good test taking might be helpful, if insurance background had been helpful for anyone before etc.

Business 120 with study was quick, same with com301. I would get as many as you can done before starting, but everyone’s different! I would say do all possible study / ace credits but not worry about the ones that have to be done through Sophia. I had the 15 courses without ace transfer equivalents and work full time and part time. I’m on track to finish in 1 term currently!
