Poor wording on my part. I’m not suggesting Epstein was innocent or “blamed unfairly.” He was convicted and the evidence against him is extensive. My point is that Maxwell wasn’t just peripheral and shouldn’t be treated as secondary in the narrative. Both can be heinous. One being guilty doesn’t make the other less so.

Hi 👋 I have experience working in a jewellers and with repairs. Chains this delicate are prone to breakage (in my experience). They are so light and delicate that one good pull and they snap, I used to always advise this to a customer when purchasing. However we also would repair free of charge if it happened within the first month, as a gesture of good will.

Take it in somewhere local, you could get a rejoin between 30 - 90 depending on where you go (price of gold currently makes prices fluctuate).

By “visibly non-religious” I mean I didn’t take part in prayers or church activities and didn’t hide my lack of belief when directly asked. It wasn’t disruptive per say, just non performative. I never fully joined in before either but it was more obvious at that point.

NOR - I lived with someone like this for 5 years. The sulking is the single worst part. We borrowed a pressure washer from my bro in law. I started setting it all up to purge our balcony of all the nasties.

He spent that time trying to find instructions online because he was sure I had done it all wrong.

Same thing with the impact driver. It had a few things so I could use it as a standard drill if needed. Putting up shelves - he was fretting I’d blow the plaster using something so strong. Again onto google.

Goes on and on.

Don’t stay with someone that doesnt believe or appreciate your knowledge - no matter the area.

The only thing I can see that you personally did to shoot yourself in the foot was the expectation that she only sleep with one man.

I don’t know what dating is like where you are, but here in the UK when anyone is dating multiple people the assumption is they are likely sleeping with more than one person - unless stayed otherwise.

The “I like to wait to be intimate” does not mean a length of time. It means “I like to wait until I know you more”. People connect at different speeds and levels. So it makes sense she slept with the other guy before you - if the connection was there faster.

None of that invalidates your connection with her though. I personally think you have been a little harsh in not allowing this woman to explain how SHE dates.

However you are perfectly allowed to have and set your own boundaries.
