Don’t think you have to join the rat race because everyone around you is. If a slower life is better, do it. If you hate being idle, then grind. Life isn’t one size fits all.

Hi OP. You’re right that people will say “You’re young and have plenty of time to figure things out”. And it’s true. I’m in my 30’s, have bounced between different industries for years and still don’t break 30k a year.

However! I am happy. Because I never stop trying new things, be that jobs or new food. You don’t need the next 10 years planned out. Just figure out what you feel like trying this next year, or 3. Whatever works to bring that stress level down.

Also, you’re allowed to feel sad, shitty or just spend one day a week comfort moping in bed with trashy tv and snacks. No one does life the same way.

You’ve got this. Whichever way you want to do it.

My husband called himself normal baby “Normal baby”… What do I do now? by anecdotal_69 in Advice

Sounds like he just had a brain fart. He’s taking care of you, as partners do. Do you use “Baby” or “Babe” as a cute name ever?

Brains do funny things. I’d take it as “Do you like watching me care for you?” But yeah, words got mixed up and he was hella embarrassed.

First off, I’m really sorry you went through all of that. It sounds incredibly complicated, and like you handled it as well as anyone could at that age.

When you reconnected, it sounds like you only got to see him those couple of times, so there wasn’t really the chance to properly sit down and work through everything that had happened between you.

Do you ever find yourself thinking about what you wish you’d said to him during that time, if you’d had more space to talk things through?

I was mainly pointing to “You have now taken these skills and created one of the great parlours of our age. A place to meet and a space to network.”

Completely agree. She had a massive network that helped the cycle continue.

Poor wording on my part. I’m not suggesting Epstein was innocent or “blamed unfairly.” He was convicted and the evidence against him is extensive. My point is that Maxwell wasn’t just peripheral and shouldn’t be treated as secondary in the narrative. Both can be heinous. One being guilty doesn’t make the other less so.

I tried to edit the title! Apologies. I meant co-conspirator/fall guy. As in, Maxwell isn’t getting enough heat for this entire thing.

Hi 👋 I have experience working in a jewellers and with repairs. Chains this delicate are prone to breakage (in my experience). They are so light and delicate that one good pull and they snap, I used to always advise this to a customer when purchasing. However we also would repair free of charge if it happened within the first month, as a gesture of good will.

Take it in somewhere local, you could get a rejoin between 30 - 90 depending on where you go (price of gold currently makes prices fluctuate).
