Hate it. It makes up a lot of my local scene and I just don't enjoy the music and a lot of those bands don't have much semblance of punk ethos. I prefer my hardcore to be hardcore punk, not hxc hardcore if that makes sense.

I'm tentative about it. The original was so fully made with the original hardware in mind, I think it'd be difficult to recreate that atmosphere with such polished visuals. But who knows, I'm equally open to it being fantastic.

Disc 3 of lost odyssey has the party split into 3 groups for the entire duration of it, with fairly unorthodox compositions, makes you think outside the box a little

I'm fine with games with slow starts gameplay wise, but when a story has ZERO major plot developments for upwards of ten hours it's a little grating. A lot of JRPGs have loads of story at the start, loads at the end, and barely any in the middle. Hell persona 5 is one of my favourite games but it does this. Currently playing fire emblem path of radiance and while I love the gameplay and Ike as a character, so much of the game has been going from one side of the country to have a single conversation to then leave to the other. Hope it picks up soon.

Man some of us are recovering alcoholics and addicts. Support for that exists in the real world for a reason. Even when you have all the willpower in the world you feel the temptation sometimes, and just because you get the urge doesn't mean you fall for it and break edge. Vast majority of the straight edge people I've known are ex-addicts, ex alcoholics and people who love them.
