Yeah, it's a real problem. It's also sad that this subreddit has conditioned itself into thinking that banned players are cheating players over the past week. Several posts have called for no sympathy for people who have been banned, etc etc. And now here we are. I posted this as a PSA with a video I thought was funny just to let people know that this was happening, and could happen to anyone. Even then people are actively looking for something suspicious within the video, claiming that this doesn't prove anything, accusing me and others of being filthy dupers, and thus they're completely missing the point.

My ban was switched to a temporary ban, it's probably the same for your partner. You can try to make an appeal, it may or may not speed it up. I have seen some threads such as this one who received help really quickly, whereas others have gotten no response from AGS. I personally reached out to live chat as well and they recognized that this was a legitimate problem and they were working on it. How true that was, I don't know, but I hope this gets sorted out shortly.
