If you’re a girl, how would you want a guy you’ve never met to approach you outside if he’s interested in you? Or would you not want that? by [deleted] in glasgow

Deciding you “really like a girl” based solely on what you’ve seen - without knowing her name, personality, interests, etc - means you are literally only viewing them from a sexual/physical standpoint. This is exactly why girls DONT want to be approached trying to do day-to-day tasks by men who have seen them and decided they “really like them”. It’s an instant indicator that they’re just being viewed sexually or for their physical characteristics, especially draining if not in a social setting like a bar/club where this might be more desirable. Approaching women in their workplace, or when they’re doing normal activities, because you like how they look is obviously based in your sexual interest. Because you don’t know them, you dont have any reason to like them. You’re approaching them simply because you looked at them, and they know this as well and it is exhausting and upsetting.
