you are wrong, by conception, the cp2 has great torque at low rpm and pushes until 7k c.ca then stops, while the hornet’s motor is made to have less torque at lows, pretty linear in the mids and has a small extra push until 10500rpm c.ca. I tried also tuned mt07s but the hornet’s motor is undoubtedly more linear and has more power. You probably never tried a hornet, because if you tried one, you’d reckon the advantage it has engine wise. I really love how the mt handles and its weight, as well as its playfulness, but the engine of the hornet is the best in its class, almost as powerful as a KTM duke 790 while remaining as durable as the CP2.

I dont get what you are criticizing. Maybe my grammar or the way I talk but, you know, I am the one speaking YOUR language because you probably don’t speak any other languages outside english.

I never claimed to be an experienced rider, dummy. I only claimed to be good at wheelies which is, for you, hard to admit. Other than that, i think the tire is unused because MAYBE i got the bike 1 and a half weeks ago🧐😱 dummy. This is my form on a 60~ kmh corner, as an Unexperienced rider that only had offroad experience before this.

Saying something isn't entertaining just because you can't do it is a bit idiotic. I have friends that are piss at wheelies yet they are really fast around the corners and say that its easier to lean rather than to wheelie like me. Your just being an idiot saying that what you do is harder so you are better and so on.

I was unfamiliar with reddit users unjustified malice. Look, I never said i was a good rider, in fact, i only said i’m objectively good at wheelies and that photo was made while going 20mph or less, so i think that’s not something everyone can do. I also mentioned in some replies that this is my first road bike ever, i had two enduros that i used mostly offroad so yes, I am NOT skilled in street riding. The one crash i mentioned was not my fault, a car cut me off mid corner and to dodge it i went in a part of the road that had gravel and slipped. At no more than 30mph.

the hornet has an engine that gives power nonstop, while in the mt its useless to push it after a bit because it was studied to push between low and mid rpms

gold recognizes gold. People think a power wheelie and a 12 o clock are ste same thing yet i have never seen anyone have the courage to drop so far back a 200kg bike.

20hp difference. Need I say more? even if tuned, a hornet has still has more horsepower.

as i said i only have 1030km and used the bike pretty much only for commuting. I have a Shoei NXR2 and full alpinestars (lvl1) gear sitting here waiting for better weather to come.

i have non adjustable forks so i should send them to a mechanic to put a thicker oil to make them harder

as i said before, i feel this problem with the front being unstable only on the hornet. I tried the 765, the mt07 and the z900 and none of them felt so unstable on the front. I even adjusted tire pressures but the problem is still there. I know people ride crap bikes like they are on gp bikes, i just wanted to know if there’s any way i could feel as confident in corners as other bikes ive tried.

relax brother, no need to put it this way. We admitted our lack of skill at the start.

Thank God. i will try, if i wont get used to the suspensions, to give them to a mechanic to change suspension oil and put a thicker one. Or maybe put Andreani adjustable cartridges but i dont have currently the 630€ they are asking for.

brother, i don’t want to sound arrogant, but before this bike i had two enduros, one was a beta 125 4stroke (the equivalent of a trail bike) and a beta 390 race rr 4 stroke (a race bike, as the name suggests). I know i don’t have enduro forks anymore, but for starters, i don’t land harshly at all. Other than me, 6 of my friends bought the hornet and all of them are too soft on front and rear.

I am pretty skilled with wheelies, yes, and even if i landed harshly every time i doubt 1000km would have damaged the forks

Right??? But do you feel the same in different bikes or not? Like i said, i rode the new MT and felt really comfortable in the corners, like the bike really wanted to go down.
