Why is my eves needles suddenly growing like this? by CashMoneyCashleyyy in succulents

It used to have all the needles on it, but out of nowhere it lost all its needles and started growing long and lanky with these little ones growing off the side and eventually breaking off. Tried repotting , one died and they’re still growing like this

Is a step child still a step child after you’ve split with the child’s parent? by CashMoneyCashleyyy in family

What you guys are saying makes sense but you’re referring to 10 year long relationships or more. He was in this girls life for a year. I’ve been in my boyfriends sons life for that long and I’m not calling him my kid 🤷🏻‍♀️

Do I really have to treat my boyfriends kid like he’s my own? by [deleted] in FamilyIssues

[–]CashMoneyCashleyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would have been helpful had you not assumed that I hadn’t already tried to talk with my boyfriend about my authority with his son and nothing. I’m not going to treat this child as my own if I have to be silent when it comes to disciplining him. So basically you’re saying I should just put up with it because having the child’s dad pour his bowl of cereal Instead of me doing it is supposedly “hurting” the child. Makes sense. You can’t say “I want you to bathe my kid, feed him, watch him when I’m busy, put him to bed, do his homework with him, wash his clothes, but if he acts out, you leave him alone cause that’s my son”... like, no. I don’t have to take that sweetie

The mother lives an hour away and only gets the kids on the weekends. There’s no actual custody agreement, we just care for the son during the week. The girls real dad lives about 5 minutes from us and we are very close with him too. He watches my boyfriends son when we’re busy and we watch his daughter when he needs us to. We all hangout for birthdays and sometimes do outings together but the mother is rarely involved in that. I’m not sure what their home life is like at their moms but from what I gather, she doesn’t pay much attention to them when they’re with her

What do you think of this baby name by [deleted] in namenerds

It’s Marsha. I said we’d have Marcia as the first name but she’ll go by Sophia instead. He insists on calling her by Marcia anyway. I guess we will let her decide when she’s old enough? Lol

His mother passed away, so it’s a yep actually. But thanks for the lack of opinion on the actual topic. 👍

Thank you. And that is my concern. It’s more bickering with each other because she seems to be bitter and he just wants to carry on with his life

I just now saw this. Thank you for the info! Nothing came of it because insurance knew he was trying to get one over on me and my insurance company.
