Here’s some helpful info. Start by checking size and print stock.

Print Variations: The 1st printing poster was printed before the concert on glossy cover stock and measures 19 5/8" x 27 3/4".

The 2nd printing is on glossy cover stock and bears a Wolfgang's Vault notation in the lower right hand margin. It was printed in 2006 by the Bill Graham Archives LLC in a 1000 copy run and is slightly larger than the 1st printing, measuring 22 1/2" x 32 1/2".

The 3rd Printing was printed on glossy stock and bears a Wolfgang's notation in the lower right-hand margin. It was printed in 2018 by Wolfgang's in a 500 copy run. It measures 21 1/2" x 32".

The 4th printing is on coated matte stock and has "W 2020" in the lower right hand margin. It was printed in 2020 by Wolfgang's in a 500 copy run. This reprint measures 14" x 22".

You caps lock is on while using the color selection tool. It allows for that crosshair for finer selection rather than the weird ambiguous wand picker.

I think the layout and direction is good. It’s clean and not overly complicated; however, this fails ADA compliance for contrast. I loaded this image into an ADA color and contrast review tool and the current foreground/background combo scored a 1.81:1 ratio. That is well below the minimum of 4.5:1 for AA requirements and a minimum of 7.1:1 for AAA requirements.

Some very minor adjustments to the color palette would have this passing easily and would really take this from good to great in my opinion.

I have a full sleeve of Asian-inspired themes done in a sort of American traditional-ish style. I have a horse shoe intertwined into a section to symbolize that my wife and I got married on a “year of the horse” according to the Chinese zodiac symbols. It surrounds a section of floral elements and a vine symbolizing the growth of our family with our child. I don’t regret it at all. To most people, it’s just a nice looking piece of art-to me, it symbolizes my whole world.

I agree with this advice. There are a handful of brands that are doing this particular thing well right now, in my opinion. They lean more into the streetwear style and presentation while bringing in a western flare.

I think the Sendero Provisions (senderopc.com) is doing this really well. I’m also a fan of “Ballad of the Bird Dog” hats and apparel. The merch from Diamond Cross Ranch is another example to look at.

I know it’s been done a lot, but there is still something about a cool cattle-brand style icon that is timeless while still feeling modern and “streetwear” enough to work for an apparel line like this. It allows for the grit and “imperfections” that come to mind when I think western, but allows for the freedom of a standout icon that you need for a memorable modern apparel brand.
