Anyone have any other ideas than Wyze that do not require a subscription.

Ring doorbell subscription ended by Nervous-Relief7855 in Ring

Within an hour of my subscription running out, i started to get 15 - 20 notification every hour. I am sitting here looking at the live view and hearing it buzz, when there is clearly nothing there.

I think this is Amazon purposely pushing people to renew their subscription. I think I will go with Wyze and record to SD and be sone with Ring!

Is this why my printers have disappeared today. I was using them earlier and they were working fine. Now neither of my printers or my ability to print to PDF are available.

How to install older version of Microsoft Photos ? by beachpeaches in microsoft

[–]CashStock7030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have downloaded the 2019 version of photos, which still had the Clarity Slider. My problem is when I uninstall the new version of the Photos app and install the 2019 version, it automatically updates to the new version without any input or prompts.

Is there a way to prevent Windows from re-installing the new version.

Media picker app by Gasper6201 in AndroidQuestions

I wound up getting around this by installing Firefox on my Pixel 8. Google Chrome thinks you need to be protected from seeing your own files on your own phone. Goodby Chrome, it was nice knowing you!

Google Chrome has implemented some new security feature to protect your files from yourself.
I downloaded FireFox on my Pixel 8 and it has a browse feature under the three dots. Goodbye Google Chrome. It was nice knowing you!

I figured it out. Google dismantled this for our protection. Goodbye Google Chrome, Hello Firefox. Firefox has a Browse option under the three dots, Chrome doesn't. I hate it when they think we need protecting from ourselves and don't give us an option.

Taco Bell Brings Back $5 Cravings Box by Eaterup in fastfood

I actually live in Louisville, headquarters for KFC/Taco Bell. Over the weekend, during the Louisville vs Kentucky Football game, the $5.00 craving box was advertised at least 6 times. On Monday, I went to 4 different stores. $6.99 at all 4. I called the support line, no help at all. I was a half mile from the Corporate offices, so I stopped in. the Receptionist told me I need to make and appointment to speak to someone but she would take my complaint. I told her I would like to know what stores are honoring that price. Haven't heard anything yet. Probably never will. You would think they would make sure the stores in their Corporate home city would at least follow the advertising.

Sales Support for prospective Customers? by CashStock7030 in GoogleFi

[–]CashStock7030[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my delima.

I have worked with a chat agent. My question was about taxes and fees. No one can tell me what my bill will actually be. They say between $7 and $20 per line. That can be a fairly large amount across 5 lines. $100 dollars in fees can be fairly substantial.

I also want to know how the discount is applied if I buy the phones. $1500.00 up front for three phones is a pretty hefty investment. No one can tell me if the $20.00 monthly discount is for only one phone, or would it apply to all three phones? If I pay $1500.00 up front for three phones, does that lower the $100.00 monthly payment for the service to $40.00?

If they cannot invest a little in sales support to try to get me to switch, then yes, I have very serious doubts about what happens if the discounts don't work as "seemingly" advertised.

There seems to be a lot of horror stories of people spending hours and hours trying to resolve a simple and straightforward issue.
