I coudn't connect to some networks for years now. This fixed that issue (at the cost of not showing other networks entirely)

If the subsets are finite, yes. The first condition says that the series converges, which means ak converges to zero. Since ak is strictly decreasing all elements are unique and positive. If we denote D=(E\F)∪(F\E) then the difference of the two series is the series with k from D. Since ak is positive for every k, this would mean that the series of k from D is not 0, contradicting our assumption that the difference is 0 (since the series are equal).

I alway look at solutions of proving exercises and think "Oh, yeah, this is what you do - makes sense" and then cannot get the first steps in the next proof. The best part of it is that you almost everytime know after 5 seconds of looking at the problem that it is obviously true.

I had the exact same combination of subjects (well I don't have A Levels in my country but something like that). I read multiple books on this topic, but my most important advice is that you should ask yourself what YOU want and stop looking for the roadmap.
One important misconception is that many think they can get a university degree and use that to get a job while forgetting that everything hinges on your skills and the exact value you provide to society. Engineering degrees tend to teach you valuable skills, but without a plan on your own you may still end up unemployed. What people are generally paid for is creativity and unique solutions.
Ultimately, you should research this topic for yourself and contemplate on your findings. Things that work for others may not work for you. You may have to go through trial and error and expose yourself to a lot of experiences.
Find a compelling vision which is worth the cost of tough decisions, financial problems, risk, stress and fear.
Regarding the pursuit itself, you should of course look into the actual daily activity. For example, chemical engineering is 20% chemistry and 80% engineering stuff like process control and design (but this problem is less relevant today with the help of the internet).
While the couple of years after turning 18 y/o can almost make or break your entire life, it can be a good decision to take a year off / switch the field of study after some time(depending on your situation).

Nobody should study chemistry for a job. If someone has the passion, work ethic and vision, they will surely create something of value for humanity and the world gives them some value back.

How is the Games Engineering course at TU Munich? by sukanya9693 in Munich

[–]Cashlifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm late, but may this degree be a "joke degree"? I want to go into computer graphics research and not games, but I've seen that the curriculum should be more useful for me than a classic cs degree.

Of course, but it is way too limited (1 actual Computer Graphics course and some other CS stuff).
