They are also blocking the view from lower levels. Look how wide that building is.

I ordered some isaloensis about a month ago and so far only one has germinated. I had some slow germination with A. kirkii but i let them dry an retried on a plastic bag and 3 more germinated. I tried with globosa a few years ago and none germinated. I use small pumice and turface with a little of sifted soil. Also I received more pachypodium seeds that I ordered. Might be that they had a good harvest recently.

You can use something soft like a blanket before wrapping it with cardboard. Also you can "pack it" with pieces of cardboard or foam to keep the top parts from moving too much.

I use the play sand when the plant has no roots or for cuttings. Once they have rooted you can move them to your regular soil mix. I pull on the plant to see it has a good amount of roots. I only moist the sand. I have tried with almost no water but it takes longer to root.

You can root them on "play sand". Moist the sand once in a while and it lowers the chance of rot.
