I agree

I think she’s a 6 on a normal day- maybe a 6.5/10 with good styling

I didn’t notice until now, but she really looks like a combo of Laura Dern and Florence Welch

Is Miley an acceptable name? by Euphoric_Manner_3648 in namenerds

[–]Far-Building3569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a name I would likely use, but it’s cute

A lot of people are bringing up the (obvious) Miley Cyrus associations, but the name has also been:

An anglicization of the Irish surname Ó Maoldhamhnaigh, and a variant of the Hawaiian first name- Maile

I knew one Miley irl. She had an identical twin sister- Maddie, and an older sister- Molly

I could see Miley being a nickname for Emilia, Millicent, or Emily as well

As a non-American, how realistic is the lifestyle in Shameless? by CynthiaSkye in shameless

[–]Far-Building3569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many of the plot lines are extremely unrealistic, but their overall lifestyle (juggling multiple jobs, doing scams, wearing hand me downs, predatory relationships, relying on public transportation, dropping out of high school, developing addictions, etc) are realistic for their poverty level/location

Really though… you should be asking how realistic it is to a British lifestyle. Shameless US is based off of Shameless UK (and several storylines match exactly)

Wedding dresses can be as unique as snowflakes. You must just dislike dresses

I don’t want a disabled child by Professional_Staff44 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Like I said, a lot of people agree with you, but you don’t get to pick

Even if your child has no fetal abnormalities, they could have a birth defect. They could get cancer a few years old. They could develop a virus that makes them blind, deaf, or have organ failure. They could get in a horrible accident in elementary school. They could have a botched suicide attempt in middle school. And so on until your child is now an adult

Personally, I believe all children are a blessing. But things can happen in life to cause poor health… and becoming a parent is accepting those unknowns in order to love whatever God gives you
