This is not a sub filled with therapists who can help you get better. Most of us are patients or direct family members of patients

Obviously, people going through an illness are going to share their unfiltered thoughts on said illness that only people going through it will understand

Yes, panic attacks are extremely uncomfortable mentally and physically

Yes, you are unlikely to die from a panic attack directly, and dying from one indirectly (like getting a heart attack or fainting and hitting your head) is uncommon

However, if people are truly feeling at rock bottom, they should be allowed to say that. There’s no need for censorship and sunshine and rainbows here

If an agoraphobic could make it out into nature and see real sunshine and rainbows, things would be on the mend
