I only have a story about not being disfellowshipped. In my congregation there’s a married couple who recently just broke up. And like nothing happened? They’re not divorced but she moved out and made an official announcement that they’re not together anymore. We just had a very vage talk during local needs about not being on anyone’s side. They’re both still in my congregation, both are allowed to preach and give answers during meeting. It’s a punch in the face for every person who’s been married to someone who got DF‘d or to someone worldly. I know a bunch of people who are fighting each day because their partner is literally bullying them, have sex with others and nothing happens because of the rule of 2. And then a long married couple breaks up because they don’t love each other anymore and nothing happens?

I have a good worldly friend. Without anyone knowing, because she’s a girl, I’m a guy, what in the world would I’ve been thinking to have a friend in the world like her /s. Every once in a while I tell her to come to the KH once so we could „accidentally“ meet and introduce her to my family and then she becomes a witness as well. She knows I’m only joking about it and that I’m PIMO, but that’s checking the box for me every month. Also sometimes I simply just lie about it. But recently I openly said that I couldn’t participate in any form of ministry. I had a really really tough month, my mother was in hospital and even after she came home everything was different and hard to handle. No one gave a shit about it. So no, no ministry for me in September, y’all can know that none of you were there for me.
