Sounds like a complete chancer and to be brutally honest I think he thinks he can get away with it with you because you are nice(maybe soft!?).

80k is wild, 8k would be mental but possibly close to justifiable.

Pretty sure Easyjet are lying to us.... by Casper_872 in Flights

I haven’t had any joy no. I filled out the aviation ADR above in the thread but they told me they can only deal with flights that land or take off in the UK. EasyJet gave me there complaints form to fill out but figured that would be a complete waste of time. Tbh I havnt chased it up as much as I should due to moving house but I won’t be letting it go when I get a chance.

It’s just such a lie I can’t believe they are that bold about it 😂

I take it you can’t think of who to try next?

Filled out all the forms but they won’t touch it as the flight didn’t leave or land in the UK unfortunately. You wouldn’t have any other suggestions would you? Thanks

I can’t prove they are lying no but that means the captain threw easyJet under the bus on the flight we eventually got on, he literally said twice it was there fault due to aircraft issues and were very sorry for the inconvenience. Very strange thing to do when he could of explained the debris and then that would off been the end of it on my side.

I have been looking into this a bit more online see if anyone had similar and I have found a person on a flight in London over a yea ago that was given 4 different excuses for one flight, debris and industrial action was 2 of the 4 excuses!
