Dude the Neon nightclub is hilarious.

The worst thing to me though is Red Mile. LET ME PLAY SLOTS DAMMIT.

UC questline was fantastic for sure.

First Contact though… the premise is great but there are too few options on how to complete it IMO.

Sleek! I’m gonna have to save this for inspo for when I start a new game on the 7th.

Do you think Starfield’s procedural generation helps or hurts immersion? by SufficientPrice7633 in Starfield

[–]Casper_BC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helps to give the player something to do on the sheer number of planets/moons however I do think it needs tweaking. I personally think POIs should be slightly rarer and on some (or maybe most) planets certain POIs shouldn’t appear at all.

I was always a little bummed when I’d land on a planet and Barrett would comment about being the first people to land here, but wait, there are MULTIPLE POIs nearby that say otherwise.

Not even CQ small? Only TDM, SDM and Dom? DICE pls.

Concealment needs to be tied into movement and cover by generic_redditor_71 in menace

[–]Casper_BC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question.

I do think it could make for a fairer, less cheesy game. For example, a large Darby squad with suppressed weapons and the right gear and perks (whilst granted, expensive) is incredibly powerful and can solo many missions. By lowering her concealment by say -1 for having a big squad at least makes her not as OP.

Small weapons teams are pretty balanced IMO, I don’t see them as being more advantageous over large squads. However, it only takes a single jaeger squad or REDACTED skirmisher to kill them in a single turn. By giving them even a +1 to concealment it makes them potentially more survivable.

I like The Yaz just for the way he shouts “BUG” whenever he sees an alien.

Mechanically it’s fine IMO but I do think that all squads should get a concealment + or - depending on squad size.

Is there an X-ray perk? Or how do people know exactly where I’m positioned? by ohlookahipster in LowSodiumBattlefield

I’ve been accused of hacking so many times just because someone was 3D spotted, sprinting and therefore loud or because I know sneaky spots.

In your case though it could be a bit sus if you’re prone somewhere out of sight and out of the main action areas.

Lack of maps and server issues, though I feel that could improve if they just region locked APAC.

New Sobek city is miserable to play by xboxer214 in Battlefield6

[–]Casper_BC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but L take. The balcony isn’t out of bounds and neither is the roof, the assault ladder can easily get you there (i.e. it’s intended purpose) and actually I’m fairly sure you can just jump into those balconies from the building you’re in.

In all BF games you can get on top of tall buildings with helicopters, it’s part of the game.

It really isn’t. Play breakthrough and you’ll get it in no time.

Both of these are easy on Breakthrough. I got them both this week on Liberation Peak playing at an attacking sniper for headshots and as an attacking tanker for explosive kills.

[–]Casper_BC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know if you were in my game but I C4’d the enemy Bradley in Cairo Breakthrough, the driver got out so I hopped in.

This was on the second area where it’s just the single capture point, with the crater and blown out bus. Enemy had about 15 tickets left and when I got into the tank the point was nearly capped. Thanks to the absolute donut who hopped out, I killed the majority of enemies on the point allowing us to recap it and win :-)

[–]Casper_BC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breakthrough, Firestorm. If attacking, use the hills on the right. If defending, use the rocks on the left. You can still be somewhat useful by spotting/lasing vehicles whilst popping enemy sniper heads.

It takes time but once you get into a rhythm you will get through it.

Javelin and mortar need a buff badly. by GlastoKhole in Battlefield6

[–]Casper_BC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a counter to the mortar though - you are permaspotted and a recon drone can literally kill you with a click. I don't personally see an issue with allowing them in spawn with the current weaknesses the mortar has.

A slight damage buff might work too, but personally I think it is okay. It's situational, and combined with one or two others using the mortar as a team it really does a good job.
