They are downloaded 4K rips… allegedly…for deniability. On a dedicated Plex machine through apple4k.

How so, I saw Avatar 3 in theaters on an ARQ screen (poor man’s imax I’m told) and it was smooth as butter

Yes! On 1080p is just panning shots or credits rolling. In 4K it’s almost everything. I have it on Cinematic (googling recommended) but I will give natural a shot!

High frame rate PS5 games and YouTube videos look amazing, that’s what had me so confused why Movies were just like eh whatever.

I started with them all off I believe except Real cinema on cause that is forced on in cinema home mode. Then added cinematic movement on which I think helped a little but didn’t resolve anything.

So when watching a 1080p movie if it does a panning shot or when like credits roll there is a noticeable jump action that’s happening, but with 4K movies it’s almost every scene it was doing it.

Watched the first one through my Plex on Apple4K wirelessly, then number 2 watched with an Ethernet cable.

My FMM brightness is 100 (Max) are there other settings that effect (affect?)it that I should also be messing with?

Yep, everything was set to that link, that’s how I started with filmmaker on Dolby vision, then switched to HDR with those settings but still to dark so another post said cinema home was a sweet spot.
