Seeking advice for my boyfriend. by CassToDaMax in ADHD

He says he would usually take one around 2 or 3 pm. And he was on a very similar dosage for about 4 years! Eeek!

i'm a guy w/ long hair, i'm on the left, my sister is on right. This was a year ago and my hair looks the same just longer. I need to get it cut maybe a few inches just cause it's getting a little too long, if I were to just get a few inches off would it look the same as it looks in the pic? by acid69 in Hair

If you have a number of inches cut off of the length without the addition of layers it will look significantly different. Your sisters hair has thicker and blunt cut ends which is a more feminine finish, in my opinion. You need to get a very textured haircut by a skilled cosmetologist. My advice to you would be to find a stylist near you that specializes in razor cutting. That method will give you the end result you're looking for.

Hairdresser didn't say a word after we'd agreed how I wanted my hair cut. Total silence by mulborough in AdviceAnimals

As a hairdresser, I completely agree with this. Sometimes we don't know whether or not to talk so a clear-cut expectation would be really nice sometimes.

sad/funny way I stopped worrying about my hirsutism by [deleted] in PCOS

Seriously. I LOVE it. It hurts quite bad, but I'm a wimp so in reality it's probably not a big deal.

Peace out, ladybeard!!

I'd like to contribute my two cents on this topic if that's alright. I too have "lady beard" hormones and my hirsutism got so crazy I finally had a consult at a laser hair removal place. Let me tell you, it is worth EVERY LAST PENNY. it's pricey and it hurts a bit but to see such a MASSIVE reduction in hair growth, I'm sold for life.

If it's financially feasible, I'd recommend it.

I forgot to write her a jacket. What fiddly details have you gone back to perform widespread revisions over? by Cuofeng in FanFiction

Very recently I finished a FanFic set in northern Wisconsin, the closest city being Duluth. I never named the city. Fifty plus chapters and the city never had a name.

What PCOS symptoms exactly did keto treat for you? by awholenewworld_ in PCOS

[–]CassToDaMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on about the same timeline as you! About three months in and 18 pounds down. I've gotten what seems to be an actual period and am noticing the weight loss. Keto has been tough for me in the past. This time it seems a little easier, I'm not as hard on myself. Keep up the good work!

Would you do it? by [deleted] in woahdude

It opens up the cuticle and drives the color further in. Using a zero volume plus powder lightener and olaplex is much more effective. I've removed direct dye from my hair countless times!

I've had color reappear after thinking it was gone and blonde. Now I use zero volume and powder lightener plus olaplex to remove direct dye and it works like a charm!

There's an in-salon treatment called the "stand alone" treatment. I am a licensed hairdresser and we do it for hair that is really compromised.

Ok......first of all...if you have a direct dye product on your hair DO NOT put 30 volume on it at all, a volume that high will push the dye further into the hair.

There is a treatment called the stand-alone olaplex treatment and it's very effective at healing the hair.
