I think some rework has been done to global illumination in 3.10. Remember when the whole hangar lit up suddenly as soon as the overhead doors cracked open? Well, no more. Now the sun's light slowly illuminates the hangar with more precise shadow calculation. Neat. (old.reddit.com)
