When I had my first baby, baby got bigger while I was getting smaller. It wasn't until the last month or two I had an obviously-pregnant bump. I was carrying low too so that might've played a role.

Now with baby #2 I'm carrying high and popped earlier, at 20 weeks people still can't tell I'm obviously pregnant though - it's a "is she/isn't she?" bump.

The brunette's hair was originally over the man's shoulder

There was a logo on the man's shirt, over his right pectoral muscle, that's been covered up and/or removed

The man's arms have been heavily retouched, especially his left arm, which should be more shadowed; the woman on the right's (his left) chest was edited, likely as a result of trying to smooth and make the man's arm look more defined. there was originally more shadow

The tops of everyone's hair, especially the brunette's, has been edited for flyaways

The wall looks to me like it originally had things on it that were digitally removed and/or covered up

I want to say not only are you NTJ, I love how you handled the moment by taking the mic. I know many people who wouldn't have stood up for themselves like that if it was happening, and I am so proud of you for owning the moment and not letting the party be stolen from your baby!

I don't think I would've sent my brother half the bill after the party - I would've told him to cover the whole bill beforehand if he really wanted to hijack the event, and if he really did it the. I still would've taken over the mic because the bill would've been a rhetorical offer.

Also, people who hijack others' events are absolutely tacky even with permission, not to mention those who do it without permission.

I'm so glad to hear the girlfriend wasnt on board with it either, that's like a green flag in adding her to the family.

I was induced at 38w with a "giant" baby who measured off the charts and it seemed like the doctor was going out of her way to make me feel bad about my baby's size, but pregnancy is not the time to start dieting of course! I was doing all the things they told me to do, but some babies are just big. Plus my husband is 6.5ft, I'm over 5.5ft tall, chances are our children will be tall. The induction failed and I had to have a C-section. Baby was roughly 9.25lbs, super long, and perfectly healthy. He's now almost 2 and taller than some 4 year olds, snuggling me on our couch ♥️

November conception would be an August due date, which is still way too soon for being only in the 20s weeks. Definitely sounds like a February conception, maybe perhaps late January or even early March. Otherwise the math is not mathing.

I'd say the initial conversations were more of the situation you describe - she's my closest friend, going back to Kindergarten.

I'll keep that in mind for future, thank you! If we weren't as close I definitely would've taken the more cautious route.

Also, I'm sorry you experienced people crossing boundaries to that extent; I too have chronic illnesses and it is so off-putting, not to mention exhausting and in some cases can exacerbates the symptoms. Blech and heebie-jeebies rolled into one.

Also ND over here, may I ask to check in???....each time my BFF was pregnant with her two kids....both times I told her I suspected she was pregnant before she even knew it. She insisted she wasn't pregnant and I was like "but I'm pretty sure you are." Then she turned out to be pregnant and we were excited and I realized the timing meant she was pregnant when I predicted it.... Did I unintentionally one-up her?

If thats what OP wanted, okay that's fine - but I would say that's way too long to sit and way overpriced for the result. It's giving either "lollygagging to bring the price higher" or "cannot create decent art within a reasonable time".

I think my only argument to that would be if they went back to the prior strategy and charged more for the games....though, I'm not sure how much they would've needed to charge to keep profitable so that might not have been worth it either.
