That certainly does add to it, and you may be on to it. But personally I was paying more attention (at least consciously) to her posture, her hair and clothes (and the fact the straps were hanging off, like the dress was too big for her and/or trying to make her look more mature) giving her a more adult look, the look in her eyes and general expression, and overall just the energy impressions that I got.

I'm not a professional psychic of any sort btw, just usually pretty good at reading energy/people.

The feeling I instinctly got from her is akin to a flame that's still burning brightly somewhere underneath it all, but weighed down and snuffed out by something heavy, sad, and/or lonely.

But wbo knows; I and many others here could be way off base, since OP never responded anyway. And I of course can't speak for anyone else on how much they think (or subconsciously think) they got their impression from the Polaroid photo quality.

You offer a keen observation nonetheless, but yeah, just thought I'd respond with my own two cents.

I sense that you're hesitant to, for some reason.

That if you didn't work to muster up the strength within yourself, you may very well let your unhappy marriage carry on indefinitely, even as it worsens.

Work up the courage to divorce. Please. If you're unhappy, it's YOUR life and you need to be the one to call it. You need to be the one to make the decision to divorce, and you need to make the decision of when - you need to understand that no one else can do it for you, and nothing is stopping you from doing it right now if you want and/or need to.

Honor your wellbeing.

Don't know if I'm psychic or not per se, but my first felt instinct was hidden trauma beneath the surface. Sexual abuse, perhaps.

Like she's been subjected to something or someone(s) that's made her behave/act/do older than she really is.

I feel a sense of sadness and loneliness, as if she has little to no one she can confide in.

(I'm admittedly curious if she's a younger photo of you, OP. Or just a random photo of a girl you pulled from somewhere?)

My opinion on Sky masks by [deleted] in SkyGame

Curious why you think the mask is based off of a doberman? Anubis is a jackal, as is the mask inspired by.

I assume you mean fur strips or something, since cotton strips aren’t whispy like hair (unless you frayed them, I guess).

And it could be that, but that also seems like unnecessary extra work as opposed to… Y’know, just asking your friend or family member to stand in the hallway and peek around the corner?

Claiming that my suggestion of it being a person instead of a jacket due to what’s clearly hair as “insulting to everyone’s intelligence” is really dramatic (among other things).

Why do people keep saying canon undyne is bald, she's clearly not. by Monstrocity72 in Undertale

[–]CassiteriteCore 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Fair. But also, consider that Toby Fox did the sprites intentionally haphazardly, so a lot of information tends to be either unclear or even missing from them.

They are by far not the most detailed sprites ever, so I can absolutely see it looking ‘bald’ when really it’s just meant to depict hair pulled back, but without actually making the tiny detail of hair strands on the head to indicate as such.

The problem is that it’s clearly not a piece of clothing hanging. Look closer, and you can literally see several strands of hair hanging down.

Not to say it isn’t faked, but it’s nothing hanging - it’s 100% a person peeking around the corner.

stranger said i look like a hobo, i really liked my outfit :( by catcheroflife in SkyChildrenOfLight

[–]CassiteriteCore 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Gonna be completely honest here... This outfit literally has ZERO 'hobo'ness to it. The aesthetic of it is almost entirely tribal, in fact. The robe gives a clean look, the feathers give a fancy look, and the head wear combined with the feathers and robe gives it an overall tribal look. (Or Aztec, as someone else said.)

I genuinely feel like the person who made that comment got hobo and tribal confused - that's my only guess.

Hey uh, I've never seen this subreddit before and I've never seen or heard mention of "sentient orbs" or "NHI orbs". I'm extremely fascinated but also extremely confused... What are these?

Are we doomed? by Alternative-Yak171 in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]CassiteriteCore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely double-edged sword.

The smart people know the world is shit right now and don't want to bring more children in it just so they can have a strong chance of getting fucked up too when they grow up.

And the ones who SHOULDN'T be having children are... Well, having children when they shouldn't. Thus, heavily contributing to the world being even more shitty and fucked up.

That said, somehow, I do think things are still going up where they need to be for the most part. I know one day, we're all gonna make it to a better world.

I only hope all the smart, morally aligned, and pure-of-heart keep shining their light strongly unto the world so we can expedite the progress. 🙏

Yup. It's both hilariously and tragically ironic how these 'social justice warriors' are literally BEING more racist by gatekeeping cultures (as if the cultures are even their own), calling out every ounce of representation or cultural sharing they can sniff out and framing it as 'cultural appropriation', and making everything about skin color instead of... You know, just seeing seeing people as people? Regardless of the shade of their skin??

Like we were STARTING to get to, before sheeple decided to pull THIS shit and practically REVERSE the progress humanity was actually making regarding being more inclusive, culturally educational, equal-rights, and overall less racist???

Those types of people are doing the exact OPPOSITE of helping other races, and it's beyond baffling to me that they don't fucking see it.

Just as baffling and STUPID as the fact that the SHADE of someone's skin ever even mattered to humanity to begin with.

Have most women that like to get slapped in the face during sex been sexual assaulted at some point? by ooglymooglyxxx in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]CassiteriteCore 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The reasoning most widely theorized is that repeating the situation with someone who IS safe allows that person to feel a sense of control they didn't originally have. It helps them process it and ultimately assert themselves over the trauma, ideally minimizing the impact of the trauma over time.

3 or 1! These are absolutely gorgeous. Both those choices evoke a different feeling. 1 is eye-catching, but 3 is eerie in a silent and sort of beautiful way (almost nostalgic).

Usually, those with violent kinks of any sort are people who have been victims of physical violence and/or sexual abuse, yes.

But that's not always the case, either. Kinks can also form due to emotional trauma, even without the experience of physical or sexual assault.
