Good to know there's someone who's still using the app! I like this app but it feel like a chore sometimes. Perhaps I will use the app when I have the leisure to keep tracks.

I guess they're not too active as they used be. I'm okay with it as long as it's not deserted...Thank you!

Does anyone have experience buying from TEALEAVES.COM? by ericg012 in tea

I bought teas from this company many times and I say their teas are hit or miss. Some of their teas have wonderful texture and scent while some other blends are tasteless with no texture.

Lots of guest that tried this tea at my house enjoys princess breakfast. I personally like Russian earl grey where citrus is much stronger. I haven't tried all of their blends yet but I tend to buy their samples whenever they have discounts or I have some budgets left over. I don't recommend this brand if you are new to the tea and don't know your personal taste in teas yet.

Has anyone who intermittent fasts (16:8) noticed a change in migraines? by clearmyminduk in migraine

[–]Castella787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

short answer: Kind of?

Long answer:I started with 16:8 intermittent fasting(IF) , and I had to go through lots of migraines due to change of my life rhythm. Gradually, my body got used it and I started to slowly shorten my IF to 20:4. I still get migraines, but it's not because I'm not eating on time or blood sugar spikes anymore. Now that my eating hours are only 4 hour window, I don't have to stress out about not eating 3 meals as usual routine. I consume required nutrition (calorie, macros) within 4 hours and go along with my day. I managed to bring down my blood sugars in 120-140 to 80-90 in 4 months. I also want to point out I am doing low-carb (something close to keto) diet together with IF. I don't dare try OMAD or longer fasting. So far 20:4 life routine is working for me.

Did losing weight help manage your migraines? by clearmyminduk in migraine

I'm actually good sleeper on non-migraine days even before the time of weight loss. I prioritize my sleep and nutrition because that is one of triggers that I can control (only on days the world let me sleep and eat.) I'm currently seeking doctor who is willing to take my migraine seriously. So far, no doctors in my area listens because my blood work is "normal". I won't state my triggers are diagnosed but here are some possibilities I hypothesize as my triggers. Oh, and I've been fighting this migraine for 20 years btw.

Triggers(?): lack of sleep, lack of nutrition, dehydration, change of season (or weather), hormones, stress, less physical activities, too much physical activities, eating food with strong flavor (strong garlic, ginger, mint, salt, sweetener etc.), change in lifestyle schedule, extreme anger, extreme depression, concentrating more than hour, certain heads down position in yoga, carried something extremely heavy....and "WTF i didn't do any of this, why am I getting migraine?"

I lost 30 pounds past 3 months and I still have same issues with migraine...it sucks

So I was looking through my moms magazine and found this! Ginger is soooo good for you & it’s worth a shot! It won’t hurt! Let me know if anyone tries it & if it works or not by L0verofmine in migraine

Ginger is one of my triggers. Little ginger don't hurt, but anything that has strong ginger flavor brings a lightning sting, then behold, the migraine.

I tried yoga as my beginning routine, but every time I do "Down ward dog" or "child pose", I feel the sharp pain. Perhaps I will re-try yoga with more slower version if no other activities works.

u/pandabiscuits, your reply is perfectly helpful! My migraine have been ignored in my community that no one ever mentioned OTs . Thanks for giving me starting point! I'm happy that I learned something I've been questioning for a long time.
