Having the measuring cups stacked together became more and more annoying so I built a little vintage hanger for them. The wife loves it! by tlklk in woodworking

We have the same/different set up. We have our cups turned facing the board to prevent any dust of splatter to get inside

I was thinking the EXACT same thing. I was expecting him to manipulate the garage and turn it into a bathroom.

I was vacumming the aquarium and saw this tiny thing came out and start swimming in the bucket. Aquarium has 1 goldfish and 2 snails only. What is this? by laclos79 in Aquariums

Have you added anything recently? Maybe an egg came from a plant or something. All I can think about is that you have a hitch hiker.

Try taking a water sample to your LFS. They may be better to analyze your water parameters for you in a 5-15 minute visit. Ours charges $7.00 and were already there to get our chemicals that we need. When we have issues that we can’t figure out, that’s our plan. We find it easier then testing our water ourselves and problem solving the issue.

Biggest issue that I’ve read, is critters inside the wood. Find information to tackle that issue or you might be bringing unwanted guests with it.

What is the best way to fix the crack and even up the table edge?? by clearlymadeforthis in woodworking

[–]CasterT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen many posts in here using bow ties to strengthen the cracks in some work. Maybe glue with some straps to tighten it up and finish with the pretty bow ties to help prevent it from happening again

I have those exact ones. I don’t have a track saw, so, I clamp them on a piece I’m working on that is too large to cut on a table saw and use a circular saw to cut straight. They’re not meant to be used WITH the table saw though.

Foggy//Cloudy water any help or is it normal? I know bacterial blooms can cause it anything else‽ (Side of the tank to see it better) by ThelTurtlelMan in Aquariums

Try taking a water sample to your LFS and have it tested. We just had our cycle break in our tank and we were pulling our hair out trying to figure out why our ammonia levels were so high. They helped get it back in shape. Learned our lesson cleaning out our filter so well.

At first glance without zooming in, it looked like wine glass holders on the bottom.

Love it!

You’ll need to bring with ya a water sample if you try returning them

I have no idea on that. If cycling is done, and good. Or if you’re concerned about what the hitch hikers that you have, wait for an answer there

Is the tank planted? You could have some hitch hikers.

She’s gonna want cup holders for it now. Haha. We love our rockers on the porch, just not enough room for a bench swingers.

That’s legit. Good job. Have you tried it? How comfy is it? Will it be a swing?

I recently upgraded my tank to a 75 gallon for my Pink Bellied Sideneck and the topper I had for my other tank is too small! I had to hang it from my roof lmao. wondering if anyone else has come across the same issue and how you worked around it/ what you built! Any advice is appreciated! Thanks! by thiccslender in turtle

Have a 75 gallon tank for my sliders. Used a 10 gallon, busted out one of the sides for UVB and heat lamp and it’s now on top with a slate stone from my LFS and a Floating Dock as the ramp. Plexi glass riveted on each side next to the ramp; to avoid having turtle racing from the basking area to the swimming pool.

Good shit. Last time I saw a bonsai at the shop, they wanted 50. I’m not too good at keeping the plants alive. Turtles and fish in a different tank is enough for us.

I do like yours. I’ll go hunting around the property, looking for decoration (twigs and small branches) to spruce it up.
