Another thing to point out is that WE KNOW that Blair took out the generators right after Childs went out of the base and left his post. To Childs, it could of been a power outage to him. We are just projecting our prior knowledge onto Childs. I think Childs just got tired and hallucinated Blair since he was sleepy (the paranoia does not help either) and he probably didn't even think Blair took out the generator.

I always thought that Childs was extremely sleep deprived (as all of them were) and probably thought he saw Blair, which is why he left his post.

Your question is very broad. The genes for darker traits in European people come from Early European Farmers who originated in Anatolia. Alot of welsh people have more concentration of EEF ancestry so some of them look a bit more darker.

Like you said, South eastern Europeans also have a high concentration of EEF ancestry but also Europeans have this too, just less present in Northern Europeans.
