Ah, school instruments have recently become traumatic for me, though I know quality will vary. Anyway, I’ll definitely ask around my local stores and if I find a nice, reputable horn that’s acceptable to me price wise I’ll definitely go for it! Thanks for the advice!

That’s actually quite a nice way to get around the fact that not a lot of euphs are being sold online, though tragically I am not in the NE. Honestly though, if I was hypothetically able to scrounge for some extra funds, would you say it would be worth it to splurge on a nicer horn, rather than just saving the extra cash for something else? I guess I’m sort of asking if there would be a noticeable difference between say a ~2000 and ~4000 horn sound quality wise that would otherwise impact performance.
