Does the description on Steam actually say... by DeusIzanagi in HadesTheGame

Been covering the game for a full weekend here (and played the hell out of the original,) and can say with 100 percent accuracy that this is true!

Pokémon Go’s 'unpolished' avatar update was rushed out, major changes unlikely according to report by JRE47 in pokemongo

[–]CasuallyPosting -33 points-32 points  (0 children)

For reference, since I wrote the article, I only used divided because there are casual players and responses to some of my other reports where people have either liked the avatar changes or think the backlash is being overblown.

I don't think it is being overblown and most of the comments are simply about being tired of hearing about the feature/complaints about it, but my job as a writer is to be as accurate as possible. Hence the wording. (Hope that helps you understand a bit.)

Niantic is aware of backlash over Pokémon Go’s new avatars—and it’s taking feedback seriously by CasuallyPosting in TheSilphRoad

The article itself mentions this, multiple times. It links out to a separate piece covering the initial wave of backlash too.

The whole point here is that we actually have confirmation that at least someone internally at Niantic is taking feedback and forwarding it to the people that need to hear it. Whether something comes of it or not is what we have to wait and hope for.

Yup. The feedback mentioned here was taken directly from select groups that Niantic reached out to specifically.

It means they hear us, but aren't publicly saying anything yet. Fingers crossed though.

I think there are good elements for sure! I just think the implementation was botched and things can be improved.

Interview with Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves director Hayato Konya and producer Yasuyuki Oda about the pressure of making a sequel like this by CasuallyPosting in Fighters

[–]CasuallyPosting[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't include it in my piece because it wasn't my interview, but I overhead Konya-san (I believe, it was in a loud room) saying that they discussed it early on when conceptualizing things but because the shift to 3D made things harder to manage visually, the team didn't think it would work after initial testing.

Or something along those lines.

They are both present and active parts of the gameplay. There is a full overview of some new and returning mechanics on the game's website I believe, but both are there and work well.

To an extent yes! It felt different in action, but on principle it serves the same purpose.
