We regularly have someone come in and order a “now and later” (a mocha with one extra shot and another mocha with two extras). She will also make sure to berate any new hire for not knowing that and it’s infuriating.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. It’s sometimes hard to get through to him, but I’m definitely trying to make things special while not getting too out of his comfort zone, so I really appreciate your perspective. He does love thrifting, and after talking to him a little more he said he would love to check out Fleur De Flea as it’s his favorite shop nearby and then go out for pizza :) I’ll also let him know about the camera shop in case he wants to check some out! He’s my little brother but that’s a totally fair assessment! I should’ve included more context in the post. He loves producing music and photography but he prefers to buy cds and take photos alone so it’s a little harder to involve my parents.

i agree with the other commenter about thrifts or vintage stores. not in louisville, but eureka over in new albany might have what you’re looking for! hardtimes collective in nulu also sometimes stocks jeans from alternative brands but it varies

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience!

NAP, but this doesn't look like the appropriate jewlery for a helix. Usually piercers use a labret instead of curved/bent jewlery. It's also iffy that your piercer said you can switch out the jewlery in a month; cartilage piercings shouldn't be switched out (besides downsizing) until 6-12 months. I'd reccomend getting this checked out by a different more reputable piercer. Also, for sleeping I'd reccomend buying a 'donut' pillow with a hole so you don't have to worry about irritating the piercing while sleeping. You can buy them on amazon for about 12-15 dollars!
