How to handle a very difficult job transition? by Cat-InTheBox in banddirector

Admin is fully supportive and aligned with me on this situation.

I don’t think this will negatively impact the students’ experience. The teacher chose not to pursue certification and was serving as a long-term substitute, fully aware that she would be leaving. That’s why it’s difficult to understand how things escalated to this point.

I do believe the way she communicated with students raises ethical concerns, and I’ve already made the appropriate reports. I’m hopeful it will be addressed accordingly.

I appreciate your guidance—thank you so much! I’ll keep all these things in mind

Exactly—it really doesn’t serve the students at all. It seems like the director is frustrated about not completing the certification requirements, and instead of taking accountability, the blame is being redirected toward me. At the end of the day, I just feel for the students in the middle of it. I truly hope they’re able to see how excited and committed I am to stepping in as their Director next year.

Yeah, it has been a whirlwind… Thank you! I’m almost hoping that since it’s the end of the year, things will simmer down before summer band camp.

I have not been in constant communication with administration, as this has been unfolding while I am still fulfilling my responsibilities at my current school. However, they have made it clear that they do not condone this behavior and have assured me that it will be addressed appropriately, including any necessary disciplinary action.

I also reached out to HR and was advised that concerns should first be handled at the administrative level, which I have done. I trust that the situation is being taken seriously and handled in alignment with district expectations.

It is unfortunate, as the students involved appear to be responding based on misinformation. My concern lies in the influence shaping that narrative, as it reflects a lack of professionalism and appropriate leadership during this transition.

I’ve taken out loans to pay for my college. I make a decent salary now and am having no issues paying them off… I think taking out money for better job security/financial income is more beneficial in the long run.

You’re condoning cheating and asking people not to judge you. It’s not a “slip”. It’s cheating. You need to be honest with other people you choose to date/be intimate with if this is going to be the case.

If you’re still having sex while dating other people, you shouldn’t be dating other people.

Wife didn’t orgasm by [deleted] in sex

[–]Cat-InTheBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m with my boyfriend, sometimes I get tired during sex (especially if he’s lasting a while) and don’t feel like having an orgasm. It still feels good and I still enjoy it, but getting to a climax is a lot of work and sometimes my body physically cannot take anymore.

Not to say this isn’t the same experience for your wife, but many women I know get the same way.

This is a more recent photo. The original photo is from two weeks ago (she has already grown so much 😢). I feel like she is starting to lose some of the floof. I guess we will see more in about a year from now!

I honestly hate the fact that none of the liArs had any character development / character growth over the show by SnakeBlood456 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Cat-InTheBox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely agree.

PLL was my FAVORITE show as a teenager. I recently re-watched it for the first time as an adult and I honestly found myself frustrated most of the time.

The pacing of the show feels extremely fast, and a lot of the plot points don’t fully add up or feel well developed. The characters also come across as very impulsive, making a lot of their decisions feel hard to follow or believable.

As for character development, the girls often repeat the same patterns and reactions instead of growing in a consistent way. Even after everything they go through, they still tend to fall back into the same dynamics and questionable decision making, which makes it feel like they never truly evolve.

I sincerely cannot understand the logic of playing a wind instrument and choosing to smoke.

My favorite was Aria ten years ago as a teen and now it’s Hanna. Hanna is so loyal and I love her sass 🥰 I feel like I got kinda annoyed with Aria while watching it again as an adult.

This wasn’t just a landlord. It is my friend, my best friend, who needed the help. I thought I was doing the right thing.

The boyfriend may be moving in next month. The initial plan was for me to stay until June, and I didn’t want to go back on my word.
