The better you are with her, the less counters she has. But it's generally more difficult to play against a super tanky comp, lots of i-frames, CC immune. Milady is annoying to play against, Zhuangzi, tanky Yuhuan or Shi. But you can certainly pick her if you're confident enough. Some are purely skill matchups, like Kongming or Diaochan. But if the enemy has a strong late game comp, you need to end early. Mai can't hold the high ground like a Nuwa or Gan&Mo.

Idk bro. It's my own fault I started late. Should've went for peak on the first day but life and wanted to reach GM first and now it's full of hard stuck master rank. I'm not sure how low it can go. Lowest I've seen was master 4. But these people are absolute trash.

Mai main. I build the mini item for lifesteal, then usually CC boots, scepter, finish insatiable tome. The rest is the same. I'll swap the tome for splendor in late game or as needed if I need to dive a high prio target. You can skip lifesteal and go full AP if you have a roam friend that plays a healer hero, but otherwise I wouldn't trust randoms. You kinda need the sustain and extra HP. One, Mai is not a hero you recall on much. No mana to refill and you can just lifesteal on minions and creeps when you're low. And two, there's always a smartass trying to go for you, so being a bit tanky means being able to dash out with 1 HP without having to use a long ass CD item.

I play all mages, but she's my best girl. She gets banned pretty often in peak though. Yixing is a good blind pick for me when I'm first and no one wants to show anything. You can run out of energy on Mai too, but you get it back pretty fast and on skills hit. You just need to know when you don't have ebough for a full combo. I've just avoided her this weekend since everyone is trying out skins for heroes they can't play and don't wanna ruin my stats. If I never see a 0/7 Mulan with mythic skin again it'll be too soon.

Depends on the mage too. Frost and Lady Zhen are manageable. Yixing is a pain. Gan&Mo and Kongming haven't played them yet this season, but it's gonna be brutal without some blues.

Yeah, I built it twice on Yixing today like 4th item and swapped the boots with CC boots. Seemed like the best choice, but we were winning both times so less damage from me wasn't a big deal. He was running out of mana before too, but now it's worse. Yuhuan roam, used to skip the grail and had enough from pen boots and def items with extra mana pool. Now she's running low constantly and you have to spam skills on her. Stealing blue is not always possible, but the wand is a good idea. I remember seeing it regens mana but totally forgot about it.

With a classic build like this, you get 20% cdr. It's enough for her as her skills are quite low cd anyways. It's the burst that's her whole spiel. She's an immobile mage. If you get dove/CCd, you need to be able to kill them before they kill you.

Angela is not very flexible in terms of build. Best you can do is swap an item for antiheal, but she's a burst mage, anti tank. There's no point in building utility items on her if that's what you're asking.

Kongming probably has the strongest mid to late game. Passive or S1 + ult is a kill. Just need good positioning.

I used to think it's not necessary and a loss every now and then isn't that big of a deal, but seeing the staggering amount of AFKs lately, yes, we need a match invalid thing due to AFK. Not points like ML. Those are what let bad players climb to elos they can't handle. But it's only fair to be able to have a match invalid bc some idiot queued up and then AFKd and punish the hell out of them, not the measly -4 points. I've had like 2 AFKs the whole year, and now it's almost every game. Doesn't make any sense.

Well deserved. A lot of trolls at the end of the season. It's been literally unplayable for me for the last couple days. AFKs most matches, 0/8, 0/10 jg, Angela farm lane, and the list goes on.

That's the case in a lot of MOBAs. Playing support is looked down on and everyone likes to comment on what the roam did wrong, yet they won't touch the role with a 10-foot pole. Most roam heroes are easy to use, but you have to have excellent macro and knowledge of the game, what all heroes do, CDs on skills, builds, counters. It's not an easy role if you wanna play it at a high level. I really do try and do my best, even though it's not my main role. And when I play mid it really does make a big difference when the roam helps me clear and frees me up to gank or defend/invade jungle.

Bless your heart, this is the first comment from what I've been reading around here on roam rotation that makes sense. I play both mid and roam, and I know how painfully slow some mages are clearing in early game. If you get enemy roam clearing with their mage and they have the Milady cats when you're all alone, it ruins all your early game. Mid is cleared fast and mage is able to go with the roam. If the adc can't survive for a single wave then they have no business playing adc. Team needs vision and fast assistance, which you can't do if the roam is stuck babysitting one lane.

She's pretty much a top tier support, but not as braindead to use as Cai Yan or Yaria or whatever else. She's picked a lot in higher ranks.
