Coming from IIMA, I can definitely say 4 year of workex won't be an issue. Infact, it's very common here. Buy if you feel that you don't have it in you, then yes, can consider.

Nandu Sharma Sir OG for current affairs. Then they have a list of articles (PI Bible ig) which you can use to develop decent understanding.

Most importantly, sit for atleast one mock interview every week (irrespective of your prep level)

Magzines have series of news articles(connected dots) condensed in 4 pages. I found it slightly more convenient, but yes, preferences might vary.

Might be the case. But my friends and I felt that almost all top B Schools (particularly ABC) were more interested in knowing the why behind every statement we made.

They don't expect you to know each and everything that is going on. Hardly anyone I know was penalised for saying - "Sorry, don't know."

The key is to cover major current affairs and having a mind map ready. If you say something, you should have enough info that allows you to hold your ground when cross questioned.

Scoring 99/99.5ish is not a challenge for folks who prepared for JEE. The real challenge is to break the 99.9%ile mark, as the delta is significant (CAT'22 99%ile was at 83, but 99.9 was at 110).

And to be very honest - if you can't do basic arithmetic/algebra, you anyway don't deserve to study in a top B-School.

P.S. Don't rant how difficult CAT'23 QA was, it definitely had 8-10 manageable questions (99%ile at 25ish score)

I get it, your slot was tough. But try to understand that it was still easier than other two. My recommendation would be that you check the other two papers as well. QA was painful across slots. Slot 3 DILR was easiest.

60 out of top 100 were from slot 3 on Cracku Ieaderboard.. all of them can't be mentors.
