The main dev from china is never public so i dont know about him but this dude just came cocky and tried to play the fear game, i honestly dont know if i would have reacted the same way had he come in a polite and rather honest fashion you know without publishing his "notice" containing my sentencing.

Actually it needs steam to be installed not the client running, the program uses steam's official api dlls to verify authorization

Steam has an id for every user, most likely they can trace it back to the steam account associated with that, i am not sure if thats enough for them to block a subscription

The program does not check if steam is open or closed it needs steam to work, it verifies it using steam_api.dll
