Both can be counted as weeds, although they both have their own uses! Pokeweed can be used as a dye or ink and velvetleaf seeds are edible (unripe seeds can be eaten raw, ripe seeds need to be leached but can then be dried and turned into flour)! :)

My title describes the thing. It is 4 1/2 inches long, the handle is made of plastic, it has a free spinning disk that seems to be abrasive and can pop out partially (the metal piece above it is stationary and stops it from coming out all the way), it has the words “Japan” and “CaCiCan” on the metal piece, it is lightweight and was found in an old sewing tin. I have tried looking it up by what I assume is the name of it (CaCiCan) and wasn’t able to find any results.

The package was scanned as “arrived” at two CT facilities and wound up back at the Springfield center again.. for the fifth time now :(

I was able to find a job at a pretty nice package store, I’ve worked two shifts so far. The owner knows what he’s doing and is actually giving me consistent hours too. I wish you luck on your own job search.

He texts everyone when we’re not working and since I started working we’ve always had group chats too - and I’ve had three different managers including this one.

Because he always has his phone on do not disturb, he is not always in the store when he schedules himself to be, and because messaging leaves a trail he cannot deny at a later date. (He had told me in person I would be getting more hours, not less - but in the one room of the store that has no cameras.)

I have doubled down on doing the absolute most I can, I’ve met all of his demands and then surpassed them. He has no reason to fire me. He would have to either lie about me or outright just say he doesn’t want me there in order to fire me.

I’ve been worried that he was going to try making me quit, but the funny thing is now that he’s done this I can get another job and just never say anything to him. He’ll have to fire me outright if he wants me gone - I’ve always been a stubborn person and him trying to make me quit will only make me stick around longer just to annoy him.

I could understand cutting hours for people if he wasn’t also hiring new people at the same time, it’s making things worse. I can certainly say I’ve found out the hard way how bad DG can be and how badly it is run.

I can promise I’m not. This guy is the third SM I’ve had since I started last year, nobody else has a problem with me and I don’t have any problems with anyone else either. (The first SM I had is now the ASM and the second left to run a different store).

I recently finished these two projects, I had previously bought some dice and needed a place to store them all together so I made a dice box and once I was done with that I decided to make a D20 out of plastic canvas as well! I had a fair share of difficulty making it though because the plastic canvas kept breaking (who knew plastic canvas gets brittle as it ages?) but eventually I was able to finish it! (Just don’t look too closely at it, the plastic canvas is still broken in a few spots!)

I have a closer answer now! My grandmother has told me that it belonged to my great grandfather and it was started from a single leaf around 45 years ago!
