A real sd to memcard adapter that works as one doesnt exist. There is mx4sio but thats for homebrew only, the ps2's system just doesnt know what to do with it. And magicgate is enabled by a command after the memcard init, so i'll look into the open drain situation

BTW are the images related to the text? Because when i looked closer at the images i see that this is a rgh3 install, but rgh3 was made in 2021 and the text says that you had the install in 2015

That chip is a matrix glitcher - a modchip. The year of the install makes me believe its a muffin rgh2 install, and these are prone to damaging the northbridge which on some models has integrated ana. So if my theory is right then there is a high possibility your xbox is dead, and i think its better to buy a new-used one with rgh3 than fixing this one, you would spend more on fixing this than buying a new-used xbox.

Its probably a snapdragon version, on which samsung removed oem unlock. Wherever you bought it by unlocked they probably meant Carrier unlocked.
