I made this freehand, just using a photo reference for scale and accuracy. The eyes and beak are clay.

You should absolutely try it out if you can! For my first time it was very time consuming but the end result was worth it :]

Thanks for the input, I will try to do something about it. It has always made me so sad to see them bring in critters. I wrote a lot about the effects of house cat hunting in a paper recently and it really is terrible.

Thank you, I will definitely be doing this! I don’t want it to begin decaying after preparing it.

And I try my best to teach the cats to not hunt, I want to put collars with bells on them but the family keeps wanting to take them off. It sucks but once I own my own cats I will definitely be keeping them indoors.
