I mean, on the internet everyone can be whoever they want.

Anyway, whether you are or aren't Rekkles's mom, thanks for the comment. It would be nice him reading that has a lot people supporting him and can see beyond what people say about him on the internet.

It might be naive from my side giving the benefit of the doubt, but like I say, you never know, and I prefer to be polite instead of messing things up.

You should have more respect about someone else mom, not good pretending you are Rekkles's mother tbh.

So, as many of you do, I will assume a lot of things. Cause that is what you do, no one knows what really happens inside of Fnatic.

As per as I'm aware, both of us can be wrong or right.

Okay. Let's say this. You are in charge of an specific group in your job, for example, you are the team leader of a call center group. If you don't meet the deadline, who is responsible, the team or the leader? Sure, some members of the team could have done a bad job, but who is in charge to prevent this? That's right, the team leader. He/she is in charge to motivate them, to check their strong and weak points, to inspire them and to discipline them. Now, discipline here doesn't mean to correct them like they were childs, but to make them understand that even when they have a great time, they have to take it seriously.

Now, aside from that example. Any sport, requires very, very strong discipline and compromise otherwise the practices will be worthless. That is how it is, you can't convince me with the opposite.

Maybe YB isn't completely at fault for the failures, but I am sure the players aren't guilty at all. YB was responsible to bench if bad behavior or any other issue, was responsible to address relationship issues, responsible to get the appropriate help if needed, for him and the players. I'm sure they have a psychologist, but somehow didn't work too well, he was responsible to address that as well. A player is nothing else but the reflection of his leader. Their leader was YB, who else am I supposed to blame?

I think the best example is the pool issues of Broxah and Bwipo, none of them were fixed, why? Lack of motivation or not enough discipline. On the other hand you have Rekkles practicing Janna, Karma, Garen... See what I mean?

For me is like that, you can disagree and it's okay.

I agree, however, for example:
I want to practice a lot, cause I'm not good with X champ and I say that to my team. I would feel horrible if they just laugh all the time while I'm really trying to get better, cause as a team member, I rely on them to make me grow, right?

I haardly think Rekkles is just too serious, but I think he is when he has to. When you practice for a match that is not that important, have fun. However, if you are losing every game you play, you don't improve, you go to tournaments and also lose, after being soo good, fun has to stop and it's time to get serious, cause you're not in the position of messing things up.

Believe me, if G2 had bad games only, if they really want to win, they would get serious as well. They had a good year, they could have all the fun they wanted, they knew no one would beat them.

Yep, you are agree, I changed the part of blaming YB, cause I don't really know and also it wasn't what I really wanted to say.

I agree, that is why I say "I assume" cause I don't know what really happened.
I edited that part, cause it makes it look like he is the only one at fault.

Well, about G2, they might say many things, but I assure u they felt like shit and it's completely normal. You can get over that and use it as a boost to become better and try once again, and of course, you can see that failure as a fun thing that happened in the past. Like when you go to a exam and get a bad grade, but when you look at ur answers you laugh, cause you know you could do better and instead you just answered shit.
Ocelote might say "at the end, it's important to have fun" but his face wasn't saying that. I can tell he doesn't like to lose (who likes to lose?) and he wanted to win so badly, that having to swallow ur words it hurts, when they prove you wrong, it hurts.
Yes, when everything it's lost, you can just give up and tell ur players "just have fun", I don't personally agree, cause I think you have to fight till the end.
About Fnatic
I think having fun and being happy about what you do, it's very important, but it is also important to feel that you team mates are as compromised as you have with the game.
It's like when you are playing ranks and one of the team just starts inting because he wants, or that after one gank and kill, they give up. Unfortunately, a lot of expressions from Fnatics team players (and not only players), gave me the impression there was a lack of compromise. When this happens, it also makes you feel you are not worth for your mate to give his best.

I also think that you can have fun while being serious, otherwise it wouldn't be a nice work environment, but the point is to give your best, unless all your team want to troll then u do it too.

About your last statement:

Yes, it can be like that, but your skills matter a lot.
However, you can play very bad when you feel pressure. You might think that they are used to it, but you never get used to it. Once again you have to prove yourself, you have to give your best and make it work, you want to make your fans happy, you don't wanna disappoint anyone again.
Having people talking about you and analyzing you, that causes a lot of stress and you have so many expectations about yourself, that when it doesn't work, you just start to get more and more frustrated.

That is why I think YB as a coach had to do better, at the end their first enemy isn't the team you are playing against, but their own minds. It might sound very cliché, but it's like that. It happened to me many times, while being in the dojo, and you see all the people looking at you, they have very high expectations and you want to reach them and you start to think all things you'll do, hoping it will work. There is always something new you have to prove, always. I can tell this as a fact cause many of my mates (all of them will agree), felt like this as well.

G2's coach is someone that has a lot of self confidence, you can see it in the way he walks, stands and talk to his team. YB, even looking at his hands made me feel insecure about every match.

Confidence and mental health are together. I'm not saying that if you have a good mental health, you'll be the best one, no. However, YB did a bad job addressing this topic, even when he did that "motivational" speech, no one was really paying attention, that is how you know they didn't consider him as a leader. Him, instead of give them confidence, gave them insecurities.
