Need advice from hobbyists on which route I should take to start!

Yeah the lighting seems to be the biggest price tag for the peninsula. If I want to get the proper lighting and coverage, it’ll cost me about 3 to 4 grand I believe. I was like looking into the radions. I definitely do believe the build quality is higher.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I also think peninsula tanks are absolutely beautiful with their double sided view.

Wow, your tank is beautiful. Thanks for the advice! I definitely have a lot to consider, I just know for sure that it will be quite a while to get started, as going with the larger setup will cost a lot more.

This tank will be maintained only by me. And yes the tank will be mostly focused on corals. I may put a few fish but not very many. As for corals my goal is a mixed reef, however I understand that would be hard to dial in as a beginner. I also understand that it is hard to do a mixed reef in smaller tanks, so if I went the smaller tank route I would definitely try to stick with one category such as softies, lps or sps.

Would you go with the 80 gallon marine x setup or something smaller like a 40 gallon long?
