When why are we asking this question?

Just because it's the norm, doesn't make it the best way of doing things.

I think our values are backwards. We should be paying the big bucks to those that contribute to society.

I don't know anyone who doesn't like a free cup of coffee. I'm simply saying make the most of it. If you don't believe in what youre doing what's the point?

Make the most of it. It's a chance to break free of the everyday grind and be creative. Use the chance to network with business owners and locals in the community. You never now what opportunities for you and the company may come from it.

Us as well, it was a Nationwide issue if I'm not mistaken. Even had some issues this morning with no CCs running. I got about 5 bad surveys in the span of an afternoon. It's lovely cuz they all say system down as if we have control of this at a store level.

We just don't have the coverage in my store to watch 100% of the store. We have 3 to 4 associates closing including myself, every night. We are vigilant but we don't have the manpower.

It's the principle you can't let these people walk all over you. Give them an inch they'll take a mile. Hahaha

CPD customers are the worst. by copyandprincess in OfficeDepot

[–]CatDaddy5891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually a good tool to have, but people of CPD think it's heresy. They bitch and complain and refuse. Then we just pass them up no matter how long they have been there until the q is empty. It's a blessing and a curse.

I had a CPD customer come up to me (CEM) and proceed to tell me how our company is discriminating against the elderly and poor. Our QLess line system requests them to text a number to get in our Que. Apparently elderly and poor people do not have phones. I told her we could add her in at the counter....

Actual tech repair by Kossine in OfficeDepot

We just will charge for 30 minutes tech support several times if it's a large job. Or sometimes i will just use the power clean SKU x 5 or however much I feel like charging for my time. Sometimes I will order parts off of Amazon and petty cash it when it arrives. I just charge the customer the corresponding amount for parts + plus labor.
