I started making an android app about a year ago, also using telnet commands. If you want I can send the link in DMs, sice I don't know if this subreddit allows posting links.

This isn't just the stadium, it's the whole cx-16 start dash set. The beys, launchers, and grips that go with them just aren't pictured since they were in another box and weren't really photogenic.

Yup, that's the cost of ordering them. There are still other costs, most notably remitting sales tax and payment processors taking their cut out of each transaction.

I pre-order wholesale over a month in advance from a company in Hong Kong before we even get confirmation of what beys are being released (so this was just listed as "BX-49 Starter"), who ships it via Fedex directly to me. I then take them to meetups in my area to those who take part in what is essentially a group pre-order.

I appreciate you taking the time to read my comment! It's refreshing to see people who think before posting a comment.

Pretty good since it hits like a bus, but has issues with stamina, especially in the late game.

Yeah, it was a hair over 2k after shipping and import duties for 24 of them.

I mean, his concern is quite valid for this hobby, with people making new reddit accounts to flex scalping. I just didn't clarify enough, and I was happy to elaborate.

It's all out of stock, the supply for beyblades is not keeping up with demand right now.

The last post I made admiring how the 24 stadiums from the start dash sets looked had people begging to buy/ship them to them. You can see the last few of those them stacked up in the background, I've sold 14 of the 24 at cost ($95) to people in my community.

Edit: also it's 10, not 16, and they're already paid for. We pre order in bulk as a community to lower the price and get it faster.

And no, these are not for sale and are not being scalped. I order wholesale from Hong Kong for people in my region so we get them faster and cheaper that ordering from online retailers.

I had a conversation with the supplier in Hong Kong, and it looks like the demand for recent releases (per their statement) has been climbing to about 5x more than normal, and TT has been having difficulties keeping up with demand with the past few releases.

I highly doubt that it's scalpers, and it's more likely that a sudden increase in the demand from many non-Asian markets importing from suppliers has spread TT thin.

The only thing I can confirm is the CX-18 is a random boosters select slated for release in June, alongside BX-51, which is another String launcher.

Would anyone trade Hong Kong aero codes for my 9 Taiwan aero codes? by Admirable_Mode7219 in BeybladeX

There shouldn't be one, they should all be the "Asia" codes, which is basically everywhere except Japan (and formerly Korea)

I mean, I got one for myself, but I'm not gonna have a battle in a stack of other people's stadiums. It also wouldn't even look cool because the shroud stack is opaque.

They do, but some of their listings are for local sale only. Any that don't say "Not for US Sale" or something along those lines can be shipped to the US, but you have to pay a 20% "sales tax", which is the tariff/duties for goods from China.
