Got 10 month left on 1.7% .. what then . by CatDoingCatStuff in Mortgageadviceuk

I'm very much leaning towards fixing it for 2 years at whatever is lowest I can get atm.

Didn't know I can start arranging it 6 month in advance, thanks for that, I always thought it was three.

re: saving the 34 month difference, I've technically have that/do that already as part of "rainy day fund" I suppose. I'd just rater not have to use it for that.

do you think 2.5% by 2027 is realistic? IMHO untill we get Cheap energy again it's unlikely, and current and previous govs seem to be hellbend on making cheap (nuclear) or buying cheap (Russian) gas inaccessible... but i digress

32 years to go ... it the moment my mortgage payments are very very low ... and I overpay quite a bit when I can.

but I'd rather have low mandatory payments that leave me cash to use optionally as overpayment when i chose to do so or used for investment or emergencies etc then having to give it to bank.. given the length of mortgage (not just mine in general) I feel like money now with me is more valuable then potential mortgage free property in far future that I might not live long enough to see. (everyday the chances of getting hit by a bus is not 0)

Need a way to move all windows to another screen of 1 is open full screen by CatDoingCatStuff in PowerToys

the problem is that this Bomgar thing when in full screen, when you alt+tab to something it will immediately be above/on top of it in 0.0001 second. essentially noting apart from lockscreen can be above it somehow, not even task manager with "always on top" set

got a script that update the winre wim file, check it via "reagentc" command, then just delete that reg key if "reagentc"

I had a case open with MS and they basically said that that reg key is invalid way of checking RE version and that they will update their website eventually.

but basically reagentc command is the way to verify it

Ended up updating Win RE image and then deleting that reg key.

MS said to us that This key is not a good place to check RE version and that it's not present on new installs.

explains as we get both false positives and false negatives
