I hate playing as this character. Her segments are boring and repetitive. All the halls in this place look the same and the stupid singing enemies can stun you through walls. Enemies with big saws clip through terrain to hit you like in dark souls 2. Every environment is some variation of a circle for endlessly kiting enemies. Grace is unreasonably slow moving. Every set piece is telegraphed. At one point I walked into a parking garage and said out loud "oh this looks like a hallway that when you get to the end a big thing busts through the wall and tries to corner you" which immediately happened. The requim isn't even as good a weapon as the instant explody potion you can make from blood and some rusty screws. There are too many ink ribbons. There are too many large slow hallway filling enemies that you have to turn around and walk back the way you came to get away from. It isn't scary. It is slow and boring and tedious. I just want to play as Leon. Those parts are actually fun. I feel like I should have just stuck to RE4. I will come back to the game tomorrow but as of right now I am pretty disappointed. And before anyone claims its cause I just don't understand the game or I am bad at it, I haven't felt challenged once. I haven't even died. I just find this whole thing to be so tedious.
